KitschSnitch I've had "waterproofing" products before that made the makeup oily and it definitely repelled water but it also slid around and transferred - like gloss. But I think you'd have noticed it if the Duraline did that.

tiff2106 thankyou - I will. You may have noticed I'm on the more mature side and recently won a Carli Bybel palette - I was surprised - they stayed without fading and didn't crease! No primer. I desperately need a good base and transition colour so will pick up two or three of inglot singles and may treat myself to one of their magnetized palettes. 🎀

I remove mine with cleansing oil and the come off easily with no scrubbing. I just didn’t want to have to go to the sink while filming :)

Also have you tried any of the Inglot blushes? If so what are your thoughts?

Yep. Inglot 77 (black) is my holy grail. Shame no one else talks about them really...

I always remove mine with cleansing oil and they have never caused me any problem x

Maybe just put mascara on top of it with one of these tiny lower lash wands? This is the reason why I son‘t wear the light colour a lot.

whatsthis? I would say so but make sure you do get the duraline and brushes that are going to give you the result you want. Also an oil based remover. I wore my 77 liner for an evening out and thought my facial cleanser would take it off but I was wrong 😂

whatsthis? Duraline also helps to thin them out and make them easier to use. If you do this I'd scrape some out on a palette or your hand and add a drop then

For a beginner, it may be nice to practice with something you can get off easily, and get the inglot one when you feel confident in your technique. Get a cheap one from essence and maybe two or three brushes to practice and then go in with your favourite brush and inglot when you're ready! You don't want to scrub your eyes every time you make a little mistake.

With practice they can definitely work for beginners, but they will take some practice. I would probably start with a cheaper gel liner to see if you like using a gel, and then upgrade if you do 😘

I have only been using my Mac paint pot. The only other one I mentioned was the UD one in my grwm usung UD products. I unfortunately have never come across a good drugstore primer 😝

KitschSnitch what? What? you mentioned it in a favorites video i think. I'm serious!! I distinctly remember it, and I looked it up, but there were 3 different finishes to choose from so I was meaning to ask which finish you got. You said it was a dupe for the urban decay. I'm so confused. I gotta find the video you mentioned it in :p

KitschSnitch I'm pretty sure it's the maybelline master prime. It might have been from a fairly old video, as I watch those sometimes. I'm trying to think who I might be thinking of instead of you, but I really can't think of anyone else haha. Oh well :p

In your original comment you said "mentioned recently"... I have been using up two MAC paint pot in my project pan over the past two years, so if you are talking about a "recent" video then you might be thinking of someone else. Also I have never used any eyeshadow primer from maybelline or covergirl, I have used a green maybelline master prime *face* primer, but I have never used their eye primers. Sorry I can't help you, but I haven't said that.

Oh I think you might be referring to L'Oreal face primers... because I mentioned that I loved the L'Oreal Pro Glow Foundation and that I was given the three different types of primers with it... but I didn't say that I loved them, and I don't use them... and I never said it was an UD dupe... so I am still confused

Hi! I just use a brush cleanser with it (generally the Daiso Detergent for Puff and Sponge) and it is best to clean it gently a couple of times instead of being rough and damaging your brushes. If you really struggle removing it then use a small amount of a cheap oil cleanser before you wet the brush, gently work the oil, rinse it out and then follow that up with your normal brush cleanser. Do not apply an oil cleanser to a wet brush because it won't work. I generally use one of the Shu Uemura cleansing oils to remove all of my makeup and then I follow up with a gel cleanser. Hope that helps x

They are really different! Since the SUVA ones are water activated they aren't long wearing or waterproof/budge proof. They are great for the bold and bright colours and can double as face or body paint. But they last well for maybe 8 hours as liners and can start to flake off after that or sooner if you touch your eyes too much, have watery eyes or it is raining. Inglot aren't as bright and vibrant and don't have as many finishes as SUVA but they are more traditional gel liners that are very long wearing and waterproof/budge proof so they are great to use if you want your liner to last all day and not budge and look like a more traditional liner on the eyes. You can also use them on the waterline and tightline but you can't do that with SUVA. They are both very different and it is like comparing apples to oranges - one isn't better than the other, it is more about what you are looking for. I personally have a place for both because I would wear Inglot when I want a more traditional liner that I don't have to worry about on long days, but I will reach for SUVA if I want more vibrant popping colours for a shorter period of time.
