Sorry, getting real for a second but this song hit me hard. Ive been going through a very harsh couple of months this past year. From losing my best friend, breaking up with the girl that i was planning to marry, losing all my passions, being diagnosed with a very shitty autoimmune disease, dropping out of university and losing all hope in my future and its plans due to said disease. Life has handed me these cards and ive been doing all i can to stay afloat. I've been feeling lost and alone for a long time now and this song felt like it touched all the subjects that mean something to me. It felt very personal.. But, at the same time it gives me hope to try and turn, and imagine it into a major song. It really is a beautiful piece,and i wouldn't change a thing. But, ill change its meaning for me in my head to make it better, to get better, to look back to this song and reflect on it with the good. Thank you for making this.

Ok... hear me out. This song. Coming of age movie. The main character is at their lowest point. They're running through the rain in the city at night sobbing. They are filled with so much sadness and anger and disappointment. Eventually they run onto a bridge and slam their body against the railing. Then, just as the song says "I see" and the beat drops they scream into the darkness of the night, only illuminated by the hundreds of city buildings across the river.

i'm not a psychologist - i know very little about how brains work but my therapist told me that it *hurts* when you go through big changes and growth. This past year we all went through a growth like no other - we are literally at the turning point of human history and it fucking hurts like a bitch feeling everyone grow this much at the same time. I hope we can all get through it with a bit of crying and a lot of picking ourselves back up. Take as much time as you need, as long as you're getting through it!

Estelle Rupprecht they’re without a capo, but if you want to play exactly what he’s playing you put a capo on 2 then pluck the root of each chord, then the tenth (third but an octave up, the note on the b string) then the open g string
