Aw I really do miss you guys! Maureen was my favourite, followed by David, Mr Jelly and Hattie. I did cry when Maureen passed away bless her :,( but she made me cry with laughter more :) Please consider bringing psychoville series 3 out guys, so many people will be made up if you do!

how has this channel and these characters not been popularised, people have such bad taste! These are two of the best characters in any programme ever. I like them even more now than i did in 2009, Just want to say you guys are genius for the 3 big shows you have created. Psychoville is my favourite for laugh out loud comedy but they are all masterpieces.

Lovely to see these two got an airing in the crossover episode on Inside Number 9.. even though I'm sure the flat was number 12 when they lived there.

@Simon Simon That's a bit unfair, the No 9 plots are brilliantly worked out and absolutely do stand up to scrutiny! The reason the council changed the door number to 9 was very plausible - the flat was notorious for its recent, grisly history and changing the number helped distance it from that history and sell it to the next owner. At the start of the episode, the young couple who've just moved in mention getting it at a knockdown price because of that history.

@Simon Simon Comedy doesn't have to pass quite the same 'sniff test' as serious drama, a little more poetic licence and leeway is the norm! That said, you seem to be suggesting many of 'Inside No 9's plot twists are weak, which surprises me. I'm a former TV producer and watch a lot of comedy and drama (though comedy's my thing). I think the No 9 plots are impressive, it's scripted with great attention to detail and twists more plausible (and unexpected), than many of the great Agatha Christie's! The acting talent of Shearsmith and Pemberton is obvious, but their writing skill is in my view remarkable. They are surely among the best comedy writers Britain has produced. The series 4 episode 'Once Removed' is a prime example of their strong plotting, a brilliantly original and deftly crafted story/concept, beautifully executed. I defy anyone to predict the ending of that episode!

Lol, I had a dream that I had to stay for two months with these two for an exchange program. (Possibly because we were researching serial killers in forensic science class and all I could think of was david and maureen) BEST DREAM EVER! :D

TV does this every night. Those channels that are wall-to-wall murders. They promo them like grab your popcorn this is one of the most horrific murders ever. And the people who constantly watch that stuff are just like David, but they probably don't realise it. So I do agree with you in a roundabout way, though I think Reece and Steve are more satirising the way people turn the most horrific of human events into light entertainment.
