on November 28th, I found out that my Hodgkin's Lymphoma relapsed. due to the relapse, I will have to do a stem cell transplant, which has a high chance of causing infertility due to the chemo received in the SCT process. my doctor highly encouraged me to go through IVF so I could have the opportunity to still have a baby one day. as a single, 24 year old gal - having babies was not on the brain right now. but, i'm so thankful for the time to do this before starting chemo, and the resources to be able to go through IVF.
wasn't able to film every single shot throughout the 10 days, but captured it as much as I could. this process was hard. I'm so thankful we were able to get so many healthy, mature eggs, but wow. I've never been in so much pain in my whole life. took 5 whole days of bed rest to heal from the procedure.
the IVF journey is not easy at all, but I am truly grateful for the opportunity and the resources to be able to do it.
thanks for watching.
love, kam

If you decide to have a child in the future, be proud of yourself that you have done everything to make that happen.

Yes, because people should be actively contributing to the gene pool with a genome predisposed to Stage 4 cancer.

Most people who go through IVF have a significant other who is supporting them. You have to deal with it on your own (or at least without a partner standing by your side) + a cancer diagnosis. True badass! Thank you for sharing! 💪❤️

Wow! 34 mature eggs?! That’s amazing! You’re amazing; for injecting yourself every day, so that you can hopefully be a mom someday. Great job! 💪🏻 😊

I’m sorry to hear you had such a rough recovery from the egg retrieval - but holy moly that’s a lot of eggs!! I had a similar number from my retrieval last year and it’s the weirdest thought to think that there are that many 1/2 babies sitting in a freezer waiting LOL!! You’re crushing this journey and you have so many people behind you rooting for you!! Much love from Ontario 🤍🤍

I am so proud of you Kam!! You did it! And holy cow, you produced a lot of eggs! I had no idea that the procedure would be so painful and that your ovaries could be that enlarged! I am sure that your scenario is different than others who are just trying to obtain a few eggs, where you are trying to get as many as possible. Let your body heal. And sorry about Washington getting beat by Michigan but they are amazing at #2 in Nation/CFP. Sending you prayers and lots of love and light. You are so strong and spirited. Lots of love from Ohio!

I just had my procedure for egg retrieval and it was soooo painful and pain post op. They only give u conscious sedation so I felt everything. I would definitely recommend full sedation so you do not feel it. Glad it’s over! 11 eggs frozen for an almost 34 year old! Thank you for all your videos Kam! ❤

Feeling for you! I went to fertility treatment before chemo in 2022..... it was painful and really scary. Thankfully I had my boyfriend do all the syringe mechanics for me... I don't know how you did it by yourself!!! 45 eggs is incredible!! Wishing you luck with what I assume is BEACOPP next...
