Southlander looks awesome, but the coolest part of the video was seeing your grandma. The history she's seen and the stories she can tell are a treasure trove. Love you got to spend time with family and improve the Southlander.

We went to San Antonio for the eclipse, actually went an hour outside of there to Kerrville. Clouds parted just long enough to see the totality. Southlander looks fantastic. You’re going to love the new abilities. I should finally have the wiring and efi done on my old Ramcharger this summer. I’ve spent all my time on my Duster for a couple of road trips, Myrtle and Sebring, FL from Greenville. My wife wants the ole Dodge done more than I do, she enjoys the off road stuff more than racing and car shows.

Dude so cool! Also when you get tired of sliding around on slightly damp roads with the bfg. falken wildpeaks also have white lettering and are much better!

Looks awesome! I love how that lift changed the orientation of the shocks. Are you planning on a gear change due to the bigger tires? I’ve read a lot of comments with people suggesting it. Hope to get to see Southlander and Sue in person sometime. I’m over in Hartsville.

I’ve heard that too and I was fully expecting to feel like I needed to after driving it, but I honestly don’t feel huge difference yet. I have 3:73 gears and ideally I’d have the 4:88. But right now it doesn’t seem like it’s worth the extra expense.

Game changing!!!! Looks good dude!! I don’t know why my ocd feels like the tent should be farther forward but I’m sure it supports more where it’s located.

Haha. I know how you feel. Visual it should, but support wise it's centered. But I did get home and change out the tent to my hard shell which spans all three bars and is flush with the back. So you're ocd can rest easy now. 😄

Hi Grandma Mary! Southlander is looking good. I'm curious- did you get to see the eclipse in '17? If so, how did they compare?

Thanks so much! Yeah the 17 eclipse went right over my house in South Carolina, so I got to just hangout in my backyard. So from that standpoint it was a little more convenient, but other than that. About the same.
