We need more content mate!!! I just started my mechanic career in gt4 and i love seeing the stuff in my goal with the lmp’s and the gt3’s! And how similar it is to my current job😁

Hi just curious. How did you become a motorsport mechanic and what qualifications did you have to get if any? I'm graduating high school next year and I'm super keen to get into the industry but I don't know if I need to get a degree or not. Thanks.

@@_clarkey right now it’s for an internship for my school, but my advise is just have a big mouth and talk to a bunch of smaller team at some trackday on your local race track, be polite and motivated, show dedication, and make sure they know your goal. Slowly work yourself up the rankes and the teams, and just overall be dedicated😁

Yea SPA cant wait also wish i could watch this team live these cats work so hard and seem to genuinelly have fun too, Thanks for sharing another peak into the dailys of a Baddass hotrod & and its gang of merry men working to get to the front, Between this Channel and Ricky at REPerformace u guys r my favorite funny talkin u tubers

8:41: It was interesting watching the choreography of the pitstop with only 3 men allowed over the wall and having to change 4 tires with only these 3.

I feel your pain on the wheel issues mate. Did ELMS as travelling fabby / tyre man with Virgo GT2 Ferrari 430, years ago, to old for the pit stop stuff !

Not sure if this helps but I’ve just finished my GCSEs and I’m heading into my first year of college on Monday, I’m going to a college to do motorsport engineering starting at level 2. The course goes on for level 2 and 3 which are both one year long and then after that they offer level 4, 5 and 6 which are also a year long each. The college have had people gone through to level 6 and are now working in Formula 1, WEC and WRC etc, also helps if you have links as I’m lucky enough to have my dad who knows many mechanics in formula 1 and across loads of motorsports. Im really hoping I can make it far and pursue my passion and I hope you can too!

hello, can i ask, would you reccomend a 16 year old to go learn car mechanic with car electrician, work somewhere for a company as a mechanic for 3 years, and then try to sign up for race mechanic?

go find the nearest race team around you and ask to be their apprentice. it doesn't hurt to ask.

Hasn't posted in months; they raced in ALMS too. Maybe no longer with the team. It's a shame if so. Really like this content.

@@Matt_C_N Thought maybe he was not posting during the off season, I hope he is still in motorsport the content was super interesting, to be able to see the mechanic of the car and explained from a mechanic point.
