I’m starting late in life I’m a young 52 old man that is starting my classes I’m looking forward to it…if anyone has any suggestions or any reason I shouldn’t be doing it, I am a little nervous but really want to be a part of the healthcare system in some aspect and to be honest it was the least amount of schooling which helped me in my decision and I get to be part of something very special…much love for everyone in healthcare industry for helping people when they are at their worst

I am 32 years old, I just barely decided I want to become a Doctor. Never to late if you have the motivation and skill to learn and grow. By the time I am done and do my residency I will be close to 40. Good luck!

Then you can do sterile tech. You just take care of the toolsets.

Do you allow customers to wear a COVR or Modicine undergarment, both devoloped by doctors, to keep them covered. If not, I WILL NOT have this procedure unless it can be done through my wrist.

I am surgical technologist I wanna join this hospital is it possible?

Currently in the pre-nursing program and for rn thinking about switching to surg tech. Will probably take the sterile tech class as well to get certified since it is pretty similar. Plus I have a some classes done already from nursing course so it’s even better. Nursing has been a struggle (Chem especially) I feel like this could be a good foot in the door to see if I still want to pursue nursing. Now this may be a dumb question but could I be able to do traveling with this profession as well? And also could I be able to work in let’s say the labor and delivery side? That was a field I was interested in?👀

Hi 👋🏾 I'm on a similar path,I've been slowly working on my BSN and I can't wait to switch to surgical Tech. That was a phenomenal question and I found our through Google that yes there's travel ST average around 127K annually. If we keep it going with Nursing,we can become Surgical Nurses averaging 137K. Let's finish this Nursing 💪🏾 Degree! The possibilities are endless after that! You will ace this chemistry class with practice & consistency 👏🏾 💪🏾

Yes, you can travel in the field of Surgical Technology and can absolutely be a L & D Surg Tech. But i'll say this, what are you more inclined towards, direct patient care (nurse) or being an assistant to the physician in the O.R as a Surgical Tech? Follow your heart, not the money (lol). Nursing is vastly different from Surgical Technology but there are nurses who primarily work in the O.R. 😊

I think you should consider still pursue being an RN and still go for surgical tech as well. That way you have the experience of both under your belt.
