In this video, I will share with you my personal story of how I turned my job struggle in Australia into an opportunity for growth. I moved to Australia from India with a master’s degree in computer science and high hopes of finding a good job in the IT sector. However, I soon realized that it was not easy to get hired as a new immigrant in Australia. I faced many challenges such as visa issues, employer bias, language barriers, cultural differences, and lack of local experience and references. I applied to hundreds of jobs but got rejected or ignored most of the time. I felt frustrated, depressed, and hopeless.
