Irfan bhai, Thank you for your message but I believe aap ki memory thori kamzor hai. Aapne publicly mera mazak uraya jiss per maine closed group pay logon ko kaha ke main aapko invite kar chuka houn multiple times laikin aap ka attitude uss clip main wazeh hai. Aapko kissi ne woh clip bheja tu aap ne mujhe aik voice note bheja jiss main aapne apologize karne ke bajaye koi random explanation bhej di jiss per i was annoyed and I didn’t respond. A month after that we met, interacted, joked and spoke to each other for 4+ HOURS at the Social Media Awards in Karachi. MANY months later my team reached out to you because I thought after our interaction which was very civil and friendly, we had let bygones be bygones. Even if you did have any confusions or misunderstandings, you could’ve reached out to me but, you, being true to your brand, again went out and publicly lashed at me on stories. Professionalism aur courtesy ke baaray main aap bhi thori self reflection kar lain. Hum tu bohat kar chuke.

How do you manage to explain things well structured and clear? The sole point here is that we should be humble enough to accept our limited understanding of things and ready to evolve our thinking
@goals27
@goals27 3 ай бұрын
We as a generation first must accept that we aren't humble enough and lack tolerance. We like to have an opinion about everything ( that's fine) and like to blame our elders/previous generations for every problem ( which isn't fine imho) but we as a generation aren't realising the problem we are creating in our society by being extremely arrogant and lacking humble Ness and sadly passing that into our younger siblings as well as kids. This is not a good sign for the future. I just hope millennials and gen z in our country together realize that problem and will correct it before it's too late

@@goals27 I would say that sense of ego in this and past generations come from our education system where we are made to believe false narratives of superiority and top of it parents generating sense of tribal superiority and then regional superiority and social color based superiority. I also hope we start to realize that problem but in the era of social media where everybody is looking for attention for some views and that views trigger that sense of superiority in them.

@@CuriosityJuice I don't think so education system is creating that mindset, and even that we are made to believe in any certain superiority.it's more of a media and social media making us that way now, previous generation wasn't that arrogant, this generation of ours doesn't have ounce of humility even though education system has been the same. As I said this generation need to realize that and change that culture with unity, but we aren't even realising that so it's far fetched idea right now

Hi muzammil. I am your age fellow. At the time you were in FAST i was doing my engineering from uet. I remember following your internet content from HOL on my slow internet at home. These 2 videos of yours have given words to my journey as well. I am not as articulate as you but I have travelled alot after my graduation. This has changed my thinking and provided me alot of things to think about. I wish i can meet you and talk alot about my journey. We are from the Golden Generation (1990). We really have suffered alot with vague point of views. We got caught between the Zia ul Haq inspired generation and the new ones born in the age of internet. I feel we had to wade through on our own to find the truth and many of our fellow brethren have not made that journey. Add to that the family responsibilities and deteriorating economy of beloved Pakistan. Thank you for your content.

Muzammil, just like many other ordinary middle-class Pakistanis, shares a common feeling of confusion. It seems that the voices of the left and right dominate the discourse because those of us in the center, (who I believe make up the majority), are also uncertain and tend to remain silent. It's crucial for the positive aspects of our society to be heard.-- Moreover, your ability to captivate an audience for an entire hour with nothing but your words demonstrates an incredible depth of substance. Unlike flashy vloggers with music, drone shots, and highlighters, your simple yet profound thoughts command attention solely through their authenticity.

I've been following you for a long time, and I openly say this to everyone that a lot of what I do, my ideas and my plans, are something I learned from your podcasts. These last two videos where you explained your whole background are really important for someone who is following you for a long time and watch a lot of your content. They help us better understand your opinions, why you hold the beliefs you do and why you say what you say. You really made us go through this whole journey from center to far left and back to center. Man I really appreciate everything you are doing. Unlike a lot of clickbait influencers, you are not doing this for the views or money only. Because a lot of the videos you have done recently cannot get a lot of views. They are not fun topics or something that people in Pakistan feel very interested in. But they are filled with absolute gem of a content. You are building a legacy. I don't think I've ever commented on any of your videos, though I've watched a lot of them and always "Liked" them. But I really wanted to appreciate you and thank you for all of your efforts. You are a huge inspiration. You might not remember me but we met in Dubai on Gitex and I was blown away by your absolute humbleness. Feel honored to have met you. Keep going.

Doing English literature I could clearly see lot of lads diverting, and diving into isms, what i learnt is 1. Why confuse ourselves when we have got holy guidance along with practical models of three best generations of Sahaba, tabiyeen and atba tabiyeen, 2. that there are no isms, ideologies, discussions to follow, they are just a lopehool, the only salvation is what Our Creator calls salvation, revelation and the way of three best generations applying that in their lives, He created us also sent a manual to follow, to me its all just that simple, i applied, it really is❤ my opinions

I've learnt to humanize people's perspective because of you. Your intellect and approach is way beyond the likes of shahzad and Syed Muzammil. I can understand what trauma you must have gone through after what Shahzad did just for his puny viewership. Trust me bhai they envy your intellect and wisdom so they find means to pull you down to level with you. These pseudo intellectuals can only do sasti comedy to gain traction. Language evades me when I try to express the beauty of this video. I went through this same journey from ultra-right to ultra-left, by identifying the irrationalities and hypocrisies of both camps. Now, I don't believe in camps, I believe in having specific data-backed opinions on specific issues regarding politics, economics, religion, social structures etc. As Oscar Wilde said: To define is to limit. I never thought that I would find such logical content from a Pakistani youtuber, being introduced to you proved to be one of the best things in my digital life. It's very hard to be rational in our divisive, intolerant, and judgemental world so I hope that God gives you courage to succeed in your journey! My learning from this video was that we should try harder to be humble, and to recognize our privileges and to be patient with people who have had difficult lives than us. I think there is a lot I need to learn in this domain. You don't have to 'disprove' or 'debunk' someone, you just have to 'understand' it, which is the hardest thing in the world.

Thanks for making me jump out of this box because lately I was ashamed for being leftist after listening to extreme liberals, im glad there are people like you who are pointing the wrong doings of both sides. I also appreciate the importance you place on addressing humanity. However, I want to share a personal struggle: I often find it difficult to communicate comfortably with people of higher status,upper-class. I feel a sense of pressure that i am trying to impress them in order to gain favor, whether it's my unit head, teacher, or anyone else in authority. As a result, I find it difficult to befriend individuals of upper class or higher status, even if they express interest in forming a bond with me. I came from a village and am studying at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. I've been listening to your first podcast, and I've learned a lot from you. Because of you, I have evolved significantly. My mind has opened up, and I've explored the Weston World podcasts. I am a much better person now, having evolved a lot. My worldview now is to watch and listen to everything with rationality. Thank you so much for what you're doing. Lots of love from my side ❤😊

Just because the majority want something doesn't mean it's right. Religion cannot be discussed rationally, because it is so tied up with ones identity, culture, and respect for societal norms and order. To argue against is to disrespect ones parents and elders. But one can still say that it wrong, just because you have a culture doesn't mean it serves you well and gives your people a way forward. The American Indians also had a beautiful culture, but they died because a people with superior knowledge and skills arrived on their shores. Was it right for them to keep to their rain dances, and wandering out barefoot. Or should their leadership if rethought the new reality from ground zero, and accept their culture was unique but that it was not fit for purpose. Islam as practiced Pakistan is not fit for purpose. It was once a great leap forward, but adopting it now is a great leap backward from where the world is now.

Hello muzamil, I have been listening to your podcasts on and off for a while now. I am also from bahawalpur (did my schooling from SPS bahawalpur) and I'll graduate this year from a very prestigious institute in ISB. I have watched your previous video and this too and loved how you shared your thoughts and journey. The part where you told I became a westernized and west oriented boy (khooni liberal), so do I feel as of this moment because of my schooling and because of the institute I am educating right now and after hearing your thoughts. It really changed my spectrum of seeing and observing things. It broadened my vision. The good thing is I have developed a sense of humanization and adaptability as my horizon has changed from moving from a small, underprivileged city to the capital. And by yourself as a depiction of ideal or sort of; I am pleased to know that I am on right path to get to know people and adapt myself accordingly and humanizing at the same time. I thank you for making this video and I know that my regards won't be enough for you or your channel but seriously, alike me, boys who came with same background as me and educating in the best institute in ISB; ALL admire you and follow you and I think your talk and your efforts are paying off if for the betterment of the upcoming generation it may be ❤. I see you as a mentor ❤. Lots of love and please keep up with the channel. It is inspiring not only middle class, but also upper, lower middle and also elite class as well as you provide a wide spectrum of vision to look upon the things as they are in a very descriptive and comprehensive way. Again, thanks muzamil. PS, bahawalpur ka chakar lage to lazmi batana One more thing, this is my first comment on any channel on youtube and your video make me do it

I 've known your work since the beginning basically and since last few years I started watching podcasts. My views changed when I saw that TPE podcast generally but recently I see so much self-righteousness in some circles and it's really annoying. Targeting one person every few months seems to be a norm in those circles. They've become the celebrities people like me hated and consumed more social media therefore. And it's kinda obvious now too that they're doing it for views and drama, just like traditional media. It's such a shame seriously, this was one of the good things about the serious social media (not the influencer side but the serious side of it) and now we're losing that too unfortunately. And for what?

Unfortunately most right/left wing activists in Pakistan see everything very superficially. They look at things as black and white. You are right about syed muzammil, ghias,..etc. They are very much partial. They would talk about democracy and human rights only when left wing activists/supporters are in trouble. There ideological ground is restricted to like minded people. They show double standards in discussing similar cases. Religious people label liberals as aliens or west's blind followers who promote obscenity and atheism in the society. While liberals (extremist liberals) would label religious people as illiterate, fundamentalists and narrow minded. Although it could be true in few cases, but both factions generalise it and see everyone from the same lenses.

Hi Muzammil, was just listening to your podcast while driving and I parked on the side to respond to this podcast. Your articulation is awesome. Shahzad Ghias was dropped as a child, these people don't understand that what you are portraying of yourself is a culmination of the brought up that you had. Nobody does that in a podcast, you were a guest and guests are not treated that way. Coming to Junejo, that guy has depression and anxiety issues with random attacks, I use to follow him and then started his scripts that I need a break from socials and I can't do this and I have money so I will just sit and eat and then think what I will do next.. getting offended on a team member reaching out, is this your humbleness you preach Junejo ? Seriously.. he talks about having partnership with God and what not but how you treat your fellow human beings portrays the reality in you. In the end, I just want to say Muzammil, keep doing what you are doing. You have been an Amazing podcaster. Love your work and content that you provide.

Bro, its really simple. You're perceiving everything around you getting cancelled from the lens of a sunni male that enjoys massive privilege in a country like Pakistan, however unbeknowest it may be to its holders. This circle is usually influenced by Saudi foreign policy and (usually) aligns domestic and global view points accordingly. You will truly understand what happened to you when you step out of both those priviledged zones and see how your publicly vocal views impact the lives of people in the minority (literally anyone who isn't sunni and/or male).

We Pakistani's and desi community in general world wide are mostly farigh culture , we are growing but very slowly our attitudes keep us down we don't grow as a civilization. I think its good just to ignore criticism and do the great work you are doing , not much use in responding to criticism in overall cosmos of time and wasting your energies and potential.

there is advantage in responding to criticsm, no need to be a good meek person but be a good strong person, e.g one advantage in this case would be people diverting to his content after watching his response to crticism, and obviously, I agree with not making reacting to criticisms the whole point of the channel

For absolute truth you would have to research past/ history and history is biased coz it is written or modified by the superpower of this time….this is the only “ fundamental truth “ associated with modern history…so what to do now,we are in the paradox….now come the important part to mitigate this paradox of biased history,and this mitigation is through imaan( faith)… can we make a trade off between two???? Million dollar question which is more tilted towards liberal than the conservatives religious group,coz of the unbalanced segmentation of modern world

This video of your journey is very relatable to my own. Growing up in US as a Muslim kid it was always easy to be a liberal as conservatives here have a rather negative view of Islam and Muslims. But as I've grown up it is not easy to be in one camp or another as there are pros and cons. Still as Muslims in US left is more sympathetic towards our causes but right is more relatable to certain issues. So eventually you have to be in the center and be able to rationalize both sides.

I remember watching your podcast with Taimur Rehman. It was soooo poorly conducted. You might think you were being non-partisan, but you were far from logic. There was a lack of humility from your side since you barely let your guest speak. Maybe you were too new at this podcast business then, but that ticked me off and i never came back to your channel. I actually came back here to watch why Shezad Ghias got so upset 😉

And then please tell difference between them and pakistan that they are ahead of us 🤔 Secondly , i agreen with you on putting people in boxes and not understanding them. I also listen to Syed Muzammil shah , although he gave me new perspectives and i have learnt many things from him but whenever i listen to him , i disagree with him at many things , so ya these two things i related with you . After listening to both parts of your videos, I completely agree with your analysis of Pakistan's current situation. It's evident that the country is in a highly complex and challenging position. I also agree with your point about the divide between different educational systems. The English O/A Level system tends to be superior in terms of academics and preparing students for the global market, which is crucial for navigating the modern world. However, if you plan to live in Pakistan, it’s important to understand and appreciate both systems, as each has its strengths at different stages. There’s no offense meant to those who support the English system they are correct in their own right, given their experiences and the expectations placed upon them by their families. The main issue seems to be that the country operates in a way that benefits only a small, financially secure segment of the population. Essentially, the system is structured to cater to about 10% (Elite bubble) of the people, creating a divide where those who are financially stable transition from being "normal" Pakistanis to being part of a privileged bubble.
