Thank you Swati for explaining how other jewellers cheat on customer in purity of gold. This happens to me lots of times. Only PC Chandra's gold came as 22.1 karat after melting . Others are arround 18karat. When I exchened Tanishq jewellery to Malabar Gold it was pure 22k. That's why I prefer Tanishq ❤️❤️

@@gouranganeog6035 Local jewellers and unfortunately Senco Gold brand too. I got most of my wedding jewellery from Senco. But at that time hallmark was not compulsory ❤️

@@shibanidatta3435 OMG, I didn't expect a known brand will cheat customers. I am shocked. I thought those were local jewellers. I am so sorry to hear this. My mother was also cheating by her old local jewellers whom she trusted. Her 22 karat jewellery turned out to be just from 19-21 karat pure when checked at Tanishq for exchange.

@@gouranganeog6035 My experience was even worst . Some local ones turned out to be 14karat. So just to be sure I changed two of my small Tanishq rings with Malabar and TBZ. Both turned out 22karat after melting. So now I am changing all my old jewellery to Tanishq whenever it's possible. And Swati's videos are helping me a lot with my planning ❤️❤️

@@shibanidatta3435 yes, Swati's videos are helpful. I get tempted to buy gold jewellery mostly. Diamonds are too expensive and their value is a little risky, I feel. And I want to have a few pieces of platinum jewellery too. ❤️❤️

I was worried after watching this video. I took my 10 days old bangles purchased from Joyallukas to Tanishq for testing. Thery are all 22 carat. So I am at peace 😊.

I've exchanged my mother's old gold jewellery at Tanishq. The gold weight after melting was a few milligrams lower than the weight they found before melting. Plus, they use file on the melted gold blocks to remove any layer on it before checking its purity using that machine finally. I think that too accounts for the weight losses. Another reason may be that a little gold remains in the equipment that is used for melting. I really don't agree with the filing process. I was also offended when the karigar didn't allow me to enter the area of gold melting. And, he also told me that taking picture of the results displayed on the monitor connected to the X-ray machine is not allowed. He was such a liar. Any suggestions in this regard? Please reply.

Why ur bangles are 21 karat showing..it's from joylukas..so it should be pure 22kt..I guess...is this means tanishq sells pure gold only

I think it was a little bit emotional moment for you to see your old gold jewellery, esp. the chain gifted by your mother which you used to wear daily, being melted in front of your eyes.

Local shop se 27 April 23 ko maine 3.5 gram 22c gold chain 22000 ki li us sunar ne mere pati ki 5 gram ki gold 22c ring our 2000 rupees bhi liya to kya usne sahi dam per Diya ya hame usne luta ye pata nahi hamari ring ko 18c batakar le liya kya uski chain bhi 18c ki hongi

Agar aapka ring pure 22k tha agar melting ke baad bhi 22k tha to uska price agar aaj ke rate se calculate karenge to wo hoga: 5*5665=28325 Aur aapne 3.5 gram ka chain Liya uska proce hoga: 3.5*5665=19827.5 Plus agar 18% making/VA 19827.5*1.18=23396.45 Plus 3% gst 23396.45*1.03=24098.34 Tab bhi aapse Jada paisa Liya 28325-24098.34=4226.65 Plus aapne 2000 aur diya to total aapka loss Hua = 4226.65+2000= Rs 6226.65
