My Keeway RKF125 getting a K&N oil filter | Part off 1st server

3 жыл бұрынThe time has come for the Keeway RKF125 to get it's 1st oil filter change. So far so good loving the RKF just need to get out more and with it's 1st service out the way there's no stopping us now.

Hi, the same engine is in a LEONCINO 125 and I use filters from HeloFiltro or something like that. I don't remember the strainer on the oil drain cover....I'll check in a few thousand km. Because it's on the cotinent and not on the Island ;-)

Hello what size socket did you use for your ratchet for getting the drain plug off?? I also have a rkf and can't find this info anywhere!

hello, the oil filter cover leaks some oil, I tighten it and it continues to leak, apart from the rubber gasket, does it not have a paper gasket? I have seen on the spare parts page that it has a separate gasket, do you lose something through the cover? Thank you

Hi crack. What I can remember is there was only one seal around the oil filter cover, sound that the seal is not in the right place I would take the cover back off and double check the seal and make sure there’s no flat spot.

Hi Santiago, it was around 1L. Just take your time add it and you'll be fine.

It should take 1.2l but I would stick in 0.9l and check the dip stick, then if it’s at the top of the dip stick start her up, let idle for a couple of seconds and then turn off and recheck 🤙

Do you not bother with the warranty as you service it yourself mate. I also have same bike but white. Just picked mine up after it needed lamber sensor

Hi Biker Beggers not that bothered really. I do have someone that can do my warranty but he was to busy and couldn't server my bike, but he did say (to get me back on road) that I could do the oil and filter change and he look it over. What's your miliage ? and the oil was 10w40 powerI

is there any rubber o`ring needs to be changed? or you reused old one

They where reused and even on the 2nd service, the tech at the garage didn't change them and no leaks so far 😅

I'm 5'7 and the bike feels good for me. Id say the bike would be ok for you but if you can I would trying one 1st

@@TwistandRelease got it. Love it. Not too small at all. Same colour way as yours. You think the after market exhaust adds anything performance wise or just sound? I’m surprised at how nice the stock tone is when you give it a little beans.

@@kidfresh1970 the stock exhaust does sound nice and with the new exhaust it does give a slight performance boost but not that much that you notice. Scorpion red exhaust has a vid up and shows you the Keeway RKf performance with old and new exhaust.

Yeah just looking into it now sense its due its 2nd service, Having no luck so far finding one. Think ill need to take old one out 1st to get the right size.
