Kotal's FB U3 is perfect for your play style. That thing hits just about everything. Loved that U3 into Fatal Blow to close out the round against Tweedster.

Johnny should have been cleaved in half at 2:31. Is the hitbox of Kotals follow up swing only in front of him?

In front of and on top I believe. That's if you're refering to his U2 attack. It's one of the best in the game. I think he can launch any attack in the game for a practical follow up. Others characters U2's sometimes miss depending on the attack and have to go U3 instead. What's cool Kotal can optimally get a B22 34 in the same juggle combo for like 25-28% for just the one bar. That's pretty sick. Baraka probably has the best damage as he can get like 38% for two bars off an U2 attack when he has Gutted and Chop Chop equipped.

What is the matchup where you would use a launcher for Kotal?

None. He loses the Armor Break KB if he does. As long as Kotal has the damage totem. The opponent has to fear any touch leading to 300+ damage.

Not sure tbh, I haven't really grinded out Kotal's custom moves like that to know but if he is trailing in damage it wouldn't hurt to have the launcher
