Hey guys! Without getting too personal, I wanted to share a little bit about my experience giving birth for the first time. Hopefully this video will help anyone looking for more insight on labor inductions, first-time momming or looking for a hospital in Chicago at which to deliver, etc. Anne Marie is now 2 months old and about to experience her first Christmas. Are you breastfeeding?
Yes.
Why wasn't Meechy there?
She was feeling very ill from chemo and could barely sit up.
Where was Anthony's mom?
Unfortunately she passed away over 10 years ago but was present in spirit. I never got to meet her.
Did you get an epidural?
Yes. It was administered during the last hour of my labor and kicked in just in time for pushing. I still felt my contractions but I was glad because it helped me know when to push.
Did you experience any post natal hair shedding?
No. EDIT: The shedding kicked in at the 3-month mark and I would say my experience was pretty typical. Overall it lasted for 3 months. I'm recovering now and coping with wash-n-go's. :(
