It's great that you want to carry that bag all the time. Certainly reinforces that you made the right decision in buying it. I've never considered a wicker bag because of the stiffness but I might have to look into one now.

Hi I have this bag and I agree it's such an awesome bag. With the classic Lady Dior i never used to like it too. I had to eat my words too... i have 2 now - a blue ombre my ABC and the warm taupe medium with enamel charm. And the latest is the wicker Lady D. So i feel you just have to find the right colour and style and I'm glad you are loving this wicker... black with gold is just too harsh. Check out the green pink with iridescent hardware, they are super special too. Enjoy!

What a pretty bag, Dayle you need to get that wear out of it before winter arrives. Although QLD is different weather wise & you may have days that you can bring her out in winter. So glad Mr. A. Likes yr new CD whicker bag. 👏🏻💐 I’ve promised not to buy any more bags this year have run out of storage space & I thought the bags look lovely arranged on top of chest of drawers with Chanel boxes etc., nope my hubby said “it looks like a tip” (he speaks his mind). So for world peace (in my house), I’ve had to buy a double sided handbag organiser. Have filled it not only with bags, but H Slides & D Way slides. Still have a few bags on display however & rotate just to annoy “he who shall not be named”. Bags in & money out near his retirement is doing his head in……. LOL. Perhaps I’ll buy him a dummy filled with brandy 😈. 😜🤣😂

She is beautiful. Have the medium lady Dior in blue and the saddle again in blue oblique and managed to find the thin guitar strap which is expandable and use for both. Would love this to my collection but will stay away as I shouldn’t for now. 🥰.

Hey Dayle, after waiting for 1.5 years since its launch, I finally decided to buy this Dior Lady Medium Wicker Bag in Blue/Oblique. In fact, I'm going to my local Dior boutique tomorrow to grab it! They still sell this baby, but the client advisor will only take it out upon request (I'm from Singapore, not sure about other countries though!) They do not display it out anymore. I have 1 question though, does the wicker gets discoloured with age? I was browsing these wicker bags by resellers and the condition is not good despite some being brand new, unworn. Some wicker will be whiter and some parts more brownish. The wicker condition on the other hand was extremely pristine when I viewed it at Dior, so even though it's a hefty price tag, it looks like I will be buying it directly from the boutique and not through bag resellers (not too sure how they store it). It was priced $8,400 in my local currency back in 2022, now its $8,800 in 2023. The price then put me off as the majority of the bag is not made from leather but fabric. So i couldn't justify the price. But 1 year plus later, I'm sold on the bag cos the craftsmanship for the wicker weaving by Dior artisans is world-class. I shouldn't have waited though! Cos the price increased by $400 just in 1 year! But anyways, I'm so glad and overjoyed that they still have brand new pieces of this style in my country. I did see Prada also selling a wicker range at a much lower price point, about $3,650, but their handles unfortunately are canvas, it will easily get dirty and show more signs of wear & tear with age. So, yes, Dior for the win! 😂
