I clearly remember when I was in elementary back then we always went to our farm with my late Father, feeding the tilapia in the fish ponds we have before, tending to the friendly goats, being chased by our goose haha. These are some of the treasured memories we shared with my Father that until now the passion for farming and keeping animals is always with me no matter what day it is. Thank you Dexter's World for always being there ❤

Nature has given you the tilapia, grow them to 3 inches and then release them to the open, more fish to harvest. Excellent and informative work 👍👍👍. Thank you for sharing. Be safe 🇨🇦

This is the most used bio eco system use in many part of asia. Bamboo slotted housing for ducks and geese, their dropping feed the fish, also people planted aqua crops in the water and around the pond. Ducks eat the snails and other small insects as well as the leaves and seeds of the crops.

Tilapia is foreign spices from Africa and also invasive in nature. your farm shall not connected to any local water resources and flood free. Any mismanagement can lead to Tilapia breed and invade the local river system

That's what I thought too, that tilapias are from Africa. It was imported into Southeast Asia in the late 1960’s. Not sure if my uncle was the first person to do so, but he was a high official in the Laotian Interior Ministry and he was at least one of the guys who brought these fishes into Laos to farm. They didn't understand about invasive species and what impacts they will have on the ecology.

Too scary to go naked like that in the pond to work. There are snakes, eels, and leeches. I know because I've been in a similar environment. As a kid back then I can do it, because of ignorance, but now I'm too frightened.
