We went on a Royal smaller ship in 2009 and we were so bored. We were playing board games in the library. At that time we had decided that Royal wasn't for us. A few years later we went on the Allire of the Seas and it was much better. Now Royal is our favorite. We did love the Carnival Paradise out of Tampa. Smaller ship,but a lot of fun. That sunset was perfect. Enjoyed this series. You guys are not old. I turned 54 today. As you get older , time really goes by fast.

Cruising in an interior never bothered me when i was younger or cruised with my teens(in a separate cabin)because I really did only go in the room to sleep and change. Now that I'm older and would like more time to chill in my cabin, I would definitely book a balcony.

I think I would take the elevator up but always take the stairs down 😂

We're taking our kids on a cruise to New England next year on this ship for the fall colors. The difference between an outside cabin and a inside cabin was $30pp. The difference between an outside cabin and a balcony? $1,000 per person!! We just didn't feel like the ship or that itinerary, as much fun as we are hoping to have, is worth $6,000. It'll be $3k for two connecting outside view cabins, and we're going to have a great time for a whole week - 4 full day stops around New England means only 2 days at sea. Even though the ship is small, I think we'll be just fine. We've done bigger ships with ice skating rinks, lazer tag, etc etc. Most of the activities we only did once, and the difference in price between the smaller ships and the bigger ones with more stuff is usually thousands of dollars. Sometimes its the dumb little things that are the most fun. I'm looking forward to board games, trivia, art auctions, etc with the kids, and all the places we get to explore on shore. Even though I am sure you probably won't see this Kyle, thanks for the video!

Great series!! Looked like a very relaxing time!! I heard that some people leave the live bow feed on overnight when the are in an interior cabin. This helps them to know when it’s morning. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I think I’d get claustrophobic with no windows.

My first cruise was an inside cabin. After that it’s balcony or nothing. I love chilling on my balcony with a drink and a book. So relaxing. I’m still a fan of the smaller ships because I don’t need all those extras to make me happy. I need a cruise 7-10 days at the least. Less than that, and it’s not worth it.

Interior cabins are great! Great for catching up on sleep. I tend to go interior in colder areas like Alaska. I won’t go outside if it is cold. Set your alarm so you don’t sleep in. I always get the best sleep in an interior.

We do interior all the time. Makes sure you don’t waste all your time in a room. We love them.

I agree. I love having a balcony. I love the Viking Lounge. Overall it looked like a nice cruise.

I love interior cabins, you get pitch darkness to sleep in instead of moonlight or whatever creeping in from outside

Honestly i love interiors.....we rarely are in the cabin. Showers, get ready, sleep. Plus the best nights sleep because its so dark! 😂

I really have a hard time with interior cabins. They also make me want to sleep which makes me feel like I missed a big part of a cruise which is Seeing the ocean like you said. I think the extra money is well spent.

Kyle you are spoiled! I love interior room and yes we kept the tv on the live stream and that was our gateway to the sea. Let us know if it was like outside. I do want to thank you for the duck hiding idea! Went on 7 day in April and took 10 ducks and we ended up hiding all of them. Was another couple that was hiding ducks as well and they attached a little card on each one. Fun times!

All of my upcoming cruises minus Disney are casino deals, Carnival even offers free drinks not only in the casino, but also all around the ship, you get on board spending money and free play in the casino, sometimes up to 1000.00 in free play. Sign me up please😂😂!!

Confused by the empty dining room because of grats? Explain please, I thought Grat was included so they already paid for the last night? Are you saying that these scum people removed there grat but the server finds out and they don’t show up because of it? Cause that’s crazy if that’s what you mean ! Wow people have zero class! Imagine going to eat 3 meals everyday and most meals if not all are more then one course! You would pay hundreds in grat! Cruise lines should force you to write a large review about whyyyyy your removing grats! They shouldn’t allow it unless there is a valid reason!

Interior cabins are a price thing. Would I love to book a big suite with multiple balconies. Or even a standard balcony cabin? Of course!! But price causes me to often book an inside cabin. And yes I compare. But I book what I can afford.

There is a reason I prefer sharing tables at meal times. The one thing I don’t like about NCl and Virgin.

Kyle, I don't understand your theory on inside rooms. I wake up, I'm out in 15min. Arrive back in the evening to ready up for dinner, maybe half hour. The rest of the time I'm sleeping. Regardless of room selection, my goal is to spend as little time as possible in there. What am I doing wrong? Now, if I had a little lady like yours, then yes, I would probably spend all my time in the cabin.

You want an interior for Alaska in the summer if light affects you being able to sleep.

There’s no bad cruise. But there’s no itinerary that is okay for an inside cabin.

I even do "no elevators" on ships like the Oasis! I end up getting lots of exercise on my cruises! (And by the way, I am 69!)

The Panoramic Ocean View if I can’t get a balcony interior is claustrophobic did it once never again

Love to see Tampa get more cruise offerings. Parking seemed reasonable. The cruise was really for beginners or “old people”. The casino was a positive for something to do. The shows seemed way worse for quality. The travel also was a bit too far. You just got back from Mexico on your last cruise with that stop at COCO Cay was a better option. 2 stars at best. I wouldn’t repeat. Until they upgrade offerings.
