After the rest of this year I’d like to change course on a few other things as well into 2024.

My mom and I met Sean Astin out in public a few years ago and he wished my mom a Happy Birthday and spent at least 10 minutes talking with us. He is such a nice and wholesome guy, very genuine. I hope you’re doing well Adam

Maybe we should place bets on how many times Adam will change his mind before dragon con next year. :-P

I like people who like nostalgia. It means they have a good heart. When you remember things that made you happy, it is likely that you are happy. Or at least have an overall positive/ hill attitude. In this case, Adam’s mind loves the creative side of things. Love it.

So sad you may not come back again for a while! My husband and I found your vlogs after DragonCon last year and we saw you in passing in the Hyatt but didn't want to bother you. It was pretty cool for us to be "in" the vlog though - we were at the Star Wars photoshoot! Hope you go on lots of cool adventures in the meantime and maybe we'll get to say hi to you in person at a future DragonCon :)

Oh man, being around that many people, and the lines, gives me the “yuks”. Not because of Covid but because of that many people 😊

Looking at the videos and seeing the size of the crowd it's apparent that it's become way too busy. One shouldn't have to wait hours to get into a store. Even the meetups are big enough to have their own cons. It looses the sense of community.

The idea of spending all that money, fighting all those crowds at a generic "fandom" con...I'm 54 and now I'd rather spend that $$$ on a week on the beach, or secluded cabin in the wilderness

I got burnt out on cons too. I’m local and we have soo many it just gets old quick. I think once I move away (soon) I may come back to DC and spend extra time remembering why I moved away hahah

Conventions are great but always cool to check out other events.

That superman with the tie that was permanently in the breeze, and that hawk girl with those wings that spread out were fantastic.

You can make it a tradition to visit that mad guy who lives at Cousin Eddie's House in Boone, Colorado every year and convince him to show you around his house and kitchen!

2024 will be my last year. Bought my membership yesterday for it. Will be 42 then. Gone every year since 2008 everyday even Mondays. Its not what its used to be anymore. Feels like an adult version of Momocon only bigger at best.

It was a fun Dragon Con weekend of videos, Adam! We've joined you again today for the end of the streak! Any ideas 💡 for next year yet? 😀

I did a table selfie with Christopher Lloyd at Awesome Con 2021. His line went until after the con ended. So by the time people got up there to take their pictures with him, he looked grumpy. They were rushing people through. I could barely say one sentence to him. I at least got out " You were my childhood" and he said "Thank you" and that was it. Michael J. Fox was at the con, too. People were bringing stacks and stacks of hover boards to get signed. It was insane.

I went to Dragoncon once a decade ago. I think they should move it to a different time of year as I remember I was constantly covered in sweat. As you have to go outside and run from one panel to the next as they are in several different hotels. I never went back as I just didn't like spending the whole day drenched in sweat.

Conventions all over are getting out of hand with pricing and over crowding!

I love how Adam said check out this Spaceballs pizza peel. I can’t remember what they are called I’m drawing a blank. LOL.

Adam has paid his dues for over a decade with truly outstanding content. I would strongly encourage him to make changes and be free to alter his pace to bring balance to his life. I think most of us wish this for him.

When they use to have all of the Disney marathons, for some reason Sean Astin and I would always finish around the exact same time. This happened at 8 different races over a few years period of time .we would always take a selfie after each one and he reposted the collage I made of us over the years . He’s such a nice guy

I think having goals and setting specific metrics on your future endeavors is important. Flip flopping constantly on decisions may be signs of indecision and being disorganized.

Billy West would have been my first choice for a picture. LOVE that guy!

Re: paying celebrities money for autographs or pictures. Being in the punk rock community you NEVER had this. However, as far as the actors…it’s work. They make a living doing this. HOF Detroit Tiger Al Kaline would do a couple signings a year to cover his golf club membership. So I can justify it when it’s actors that aren’t necessarily on a huge current TV series or movie franchise.
