Hilary, I’m 53 years old and I’m from Palatka Florida. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting your grandfather on several occasions. I’ve yet to meet your dad but I’m sure I will because of the geography of this fishery I live on. So I’m now watching the third generation of the Martin family fishing and I can’t wait to see you fishing on the elite series. It’s inevitable that you will be a top contender in college. I believe you have it in your DNA. How could you not. Growing up in a family that just knows how to win. You have two great people to give you the knowledge on how to get it done. We'll have you saying Roll Tide and singing Sweet Home Alabama in no time. I live in Tuscaloosa but unfortunately I am going to be out of the country for a while so I may not get to meet you. Good luck. I've fished Harris Lake which is where you will practice if that hasn't changed. If you can get those fish to bite, you can catch em anywhere. If you ever fish lake Tuscaloosa, target spots. Those rock walls before and after the Hwy 69 bridge will produce. I had best luck with a pumpkin seed with chartreuse tail zoom worm. Throw all the way to the wall and give her about 3 small tugs. If it doesn't bite by the third, reel up and repeat. You want see big bags from that lake. Bridge pilings hold some good spots too. Roadrunner will catch them there.

Saw you on the Warrior, Bankhead actually but it's all the same deal. You should have gone up the river for those big heads

I see silver Shimano's... do you guys ever use the Tranx? I have 150's that I use for saltwater fishing, thought about simplifying matters and going with all Tranx reels for Bass and SW, but I wasn't sure how they'd handle bass fishing day in and out as dedicated reels. Thanks!
