Super helpful. I graduate with my MPA with a 4.0 next month and I know only my undergrad is calculated but I wanted my internships and capstone volunteer time with a non-profit in my app, I had a crazy idea I would throw my MPA and awards in by June and apply late af. Hearing the time to you took on letters of rec and the personal statement made me realize I would have made a huge mistake. I also totally forgot I have a pre law advisor at my gradute and undergrad school to reach out too, super helpful video. Good luck on the rest of law school!

Thank you for sharing. I’ve been following your journey on TikTok! I will be taking the LSAT in April, and since you shared you received different acceptances at different date, I do have one question. At what point do you have to tell the law school that you are coming or not coming because I heard something about a seat deposit? So for example, you receive an acceptance from one school in December. Do you have a deadline on when you need to make a seat deposit? And is it a gamble waiting for school you want more …That may tell you accepted two months later that you’ve been except?

Hi! so sorry for the late response and yes I believe each law school has a security deposit deadline. If you happen to be in the position you described, I would email the admissions team and ask kindly and respectfully to extend the deadline! They might be flexible :)

I assumed the high possibilities and worked on my law school process the spring of my senior year 2020 of university - took the LSAT Flex - and failed 😢 It’s been nearly 4 years later, the darn test is HOLDING ME BACK. I cannot do self study, I need 1:1 tutoring - any suggestions????

have you done a prep course? also, maybe find a community online/ friends/ at work who are also studying for the LSAT to hold you accountable. and then I would say just make a commitment to yourself that you will go to law school and you will do everything in your power to do so ❤❤❤ you got this!

@@Legalmija I used Kaplan and still have the same 3 books I bought for studying. I did my best with keeping myself accountable and on track with studying but there was just trouble for me to concentrate. You mentioned that it took you 3 years to get to law school, between your gap years. Were you actively studying for the LSAT during those three years?

I get that you probably shouldn’t trust random strangers on the internet, but I just got back my lsat score on Wednesday and it was a 173. I studied for about 8 months and would drill/do timed sections 3 hours a day after work, and would take a timed practice test on the weekends. tutoring seems kind of like a waste of time to me. if i was going to recommend a service, i would say to use LSAT Demon. hope this helps

@@dahleeah3167 yes I was actively studying for it during those years. I might have taken a month break sometime throughout it

What was your major in undergrad? And what did you do to practice for LSAT to make sure you receive the score you desired... any apps, websites, programs, etc...?
