Hmmmmmm....CK, thanks for this interview. I'm in Spain and I passed through his second route. I taught on schools in Tripoli, and many cities in Libya, and I went through the same desert experience, it's even stranger than how he's saying. All what he's saying is through. I had the Mediterranean sea experience as well......hmmm Traveling life especially Libyan journey is never easy at all ..

You cannot have a shortage of water at the climbing of Hoggar. Hoggar does not border Libya. After climbing Hoggar(from Niger, Algadez) you come to Tamarrazet) where the walking journey begins. Then you arrive at Barrakat. Then Ghat. You cannot directly go to Benghazi from Ghat. I was on this trip in 1989

See how the Nigerians kept quiet without snitching on you. No Ghanaian would have done same for a Nigerian. In one of the videos, a Ghanaian already said he slapped a Nigerian guy for writing his name in a sheet meant for Ghanaians. RIP to the Nigerian lady that was murdered in the desert.

Well, As a teacher in Libya , I can tell you a lot about Libya especially during Ghadaffi's time. I was there after the death of Ghadaffi, but. Even that time, no payment of light bill and water bills, only rent, the way the pay for mason work was unique, they pay for metre measurements, so huge money at the end. I was teaching in the Cambridge school in Britain's branch there. I know a Ghana English teacher there who receives a salary of $6000.00 a month. With free accomodation etc. It's now that Libya is getting hard but before. It was the best country to live in in the world if you are living and working there.
