I totaly understand why you donate dolls and toys last year when i was able to participate in the madison Children's american girl benifit sale i felt so blessed and i donated a melody doll that was brandnew in the box . i wanted a child to feel as happy as i was i just hope the child was happy

As a kid, I didn't really care that much about Hello Kitty, to be honest. As an adult, I just adore Hello Kitty and the other Sanrio characters. I've really started to realize how safe these cute characters can make someone feel. I know it might sound strange, but as a person with Autism, depression and PTSD, feeling safe isn't always easy for me. It's gotten worse as an adult, so if something makes me feel safe, I immediately like it. ❤

I love doll companies so much. I live in the uk, some shops here have there own version of the 18inch dolls sold. we have our generation here, R Friends and DesignaFriend dolls... don't get many accessories. me and my daughter love watching your videos 🥰

We love doll diversity in our house

Can’t wait to see the play-sets and accessories; I don’t have “My Life As” or other common 18in. Dolls but the stuff is a good scale for my 60cm. SmartDoll girls ( ~ between 1/4 and 1/3 scale) so I’m excited to see new additions coming out. lol. This timing is pretty good since I have been thinking of getting some if the Hello Kitty recently.

Wonderful. This is yet another of the many toy companies that gets it and ‘really’ cares about diversity… unlike clone factory MGAE (especially with Rainbow High, the private school where diversity has been left somewhere on the other side of the rainbow). They are too full of themselves. Great review indeed. Toy lovers, please support the small number of minority owned doll and toy companies who are hanging on. The few have some wonderful dolls and toys that everyone can love. Give them a try. Reviewers please seek out the very small number of minority owned toy companies and support them by ordering what they offer and reviewing them. That sure will be super. Thanks.

I love so much the positive reminders you give to parents about acceptance and representation! Watching this I just randomly got flashbacks to so many times as a kid that I saw a black baby doll and felt curious about it because it didn’t look like any of my dolls at home and my mom would always tell me “No you don’t want that one.” Because “it’s ugly” or “that ones for black kids.” It happened enough times that I stopped showing any obvious interest in them because I already knew what she’d say. It’s sad looking back on it because if she didn’t have that hate in her heart it could have been a good moment for her to encourage me to explore my curiosity with other races and educate me in a positive way. I feel like it’s so important for kids to have dolls of all races that they adore and I’m so happy with how far doll diversity is coming along (Also my mom would be disgusted by the black dolls I have and adore now 🙃 and in an odd way that makes me proud of myself lmao)

I'm a young lady who likes dolls

It's nice to see them do an Asian doll. The faces on the white and African American My Life As dolls normally creep me out, but the Asian one is adorable. And I nothiced that My Life As has covered most types of diversity, but they rarely ever make redheads. Our Generation has a decent amount of redheads though, so I don't get why My Life As has very few redhead dolls. And I am considering getting one of the Autism Advocate dolls from My Life As just because of the controversy behind them.

The company needs to put the male my life as a doll with sleep eyes and lashes. The few that are produced don't have sleep eyes or lashes. This is stupid .
