Oh, right! Their dad bought a "star ownership certificate" for them on some sketchy website, so they built a rocket to go see "their" star, and it turned out to be that milkshake bar, which they were apparently actually the owners of now. And I only noticed that it was that particular space milkshake bar in this episode while watching that video.

The reason Perry is a platypus is because the show creators didn't want to put in a common animal that kids would ask their parents to get for them as a pet. I don't think you can own a platypus in the U.S., at least not easily, so this dodged a bunch of impulse-buy pets.

2:01 That's actually correct. Phineas & Ferb ancestors created the tire (Candace also discovered fire) and the Great Wall of China. Then the Phineas & Ferb of the present would create more technological advances for the future. Doof isn't left behind because he would be the creator of time travel, changing his name to Professor Time.

Actually, at 15:03, I'm pretty sure that the planet Ferb goes to is a reference to a different episode. In that episode, Phineas and Ferb find out that they own a star, and they decide they would go and visit it. Once they arrived, they found out it was a cosmic bar and helped renovate it,

Also, when they're not on the clock, Perry and Doofenshmirtz *do* genuinely get along; they're only enemies when they *have* to be. If I'm not mistaken, there's at least 1 more phineas and ferb epasod with a plot that involves meep. It's almost as bonkers as this episode, but probably becos characters and connections have already been established in this episode.

My head cannon why Phineas never realized why Isabella liked him until the end of the show is that he’s an autistic king and needed to be told explicitly otherwise he’d never get it. And that’s only partially because I am autistic myself 😌

I actually think that the whole 'don't judge a book by its cover' thing came from a time before books had fancy covers with pictures and summaries of the book on them. Like back when the covers were just blank and you actually had to open the book and read it to know what it was. So people would judge it by the materials it was binded with (ex. more expensive = better book), which wasn't always the case.

as a German I think it's funny how the German word "Teppich" means "carpet" but is also sometimes in some areas/dialects used as a word for "blanket", while "Decke" is the word for both "blanket" and "Ceiling". Also I don't know the difference between rug and carpet, my guess is that rug is used more as an not good looking carpet(?) but I don't know

@@the0neBoio from what I understood from Mathew carpet covers the whole floor and can't be removed easily and rug is like a small one you can just throw on the floor and still see the floor in Finnish we just call both of them "matto" but if you want specify that you mean a carpet that covers the whole floor you can call it "kokolattiamatto" ("whole floor carpet")

Think of "carpet" as shorthand for "wall-to-wall carpet" and think of "rug" as shorthand for "area rug". It's just sort of understood when we say one word or the other that the longer form of it is implied. You either have carpet fixed in place across the entire floor or you have a hard surface (tile flooring, hardwood flooring, laminate flooring) and you place a rug on top of it to cover part of the area. Granted, a rug can have the same design / texture as a full carpet. Just a small standalone section of the same type of material. One color, and fluffy. But a rug can also be something expensive and ornamental with a complicated pattern, looking more like the Flying Carpet from Disney's Aladdin. You wouldn't see something patterned used as a wall-to-wall carpet... except maybe for something like a hotel lobby, I guess.
