It's the clubs own fault regarding Shankland.He could have been signed for around £1 million when he was at Dundee United and for even less when he was playing for Ayr.They obviously still don't think that he's good enough when everyone else can see that he's turned into a fantastic player.Hopefully he can finally sign in the summer ☀️.You get the impression that he would be definitely interested in the move being a fan of the club.

It's exactly the type of snobbery that has allowed Lewis Ferguson, Hickey, Doig et al to leave for pastures new & within a very short time period to become top players worth upto tens of millions. I get the feeling Walter Smith appreciated & would have grabbed Shankland with both hands. I just get so confused why we haven't even put an offer in but chased & bought this clown dessers instead. Picking up donkeys like depressers who has been passed around more times than a scud book in the nick: 9 clubs in a 10 year period, while failing at them all (bar 1) it is so apparently obvious he has not got what it takes to be a consistent professional number 9 for a club like ours. Getting to the point i am predicting whenever i see him run offside, run into opposition players, trip over himself or the ball, slicing at fresh air, skying it into row Z, screaming & shouting at Matondo & McAusland when he does all of the above but smiles & gives the thumbs upto everyone else. That's no a good sign. Also unbelievable that he has so many in our support sucking him off but, turn their noses up at the mere mention of Shankland. Fact is though, dessers could not lace Shanklands boots & i hope we do not live to regret not buying Shankland in this run up in the league. I am just not confident with him as our number 9 & never will. He can't leave soon enough for me.
