你好 Grace and thank you for sharing your experiences. It surely was quite an adventure. Also, I'm so happy to know people can really be that kind (talking about your friend, who invited you for Christmas). In my country and tradition, inviting someone to spend Christmas together is one of the most profound ways of showing respect and love to other human being. Thanks again, xie xie!

What are you most looking forward to doing now that you're back in Taiwan? Some places in the US to consider in the future: Sedona Arizona (and Grand Canyon), San Francisco California, Hawaii, Las Vegas Nevada, Los Angeles California. Florida is especially full of strange people, but the meow person was most likely trying to bother you, mentally ill, or, at best, was trying to flirt. It's sad that women are still harassed so often for no reason. I saw the 養樂多 that you shared in Canada! 😊

Idk…it could have been 你好 or maybe he was acting creepy. It’s generally best to err on the side of caution in those situations. Sadly, I think everyone in America has had at least one of these crazy experiences with a stranger😂 Anyway, happy to hear you had an awesome time in the US and Canada overall!

Some ideas for next time: US - Yellowstone - I’ve heard it’s good! - California - you went to Florida which is humid and flat, while Cali is less humid and is very mountainous. Florida has better beaches but I think Cali has prettier scenery. There’s also a notable difference between Socal and Norcal (Socal is warmer and Norcal is cooler) so there’s a lot of variety. - Hawaii - It should be a shorter flight from Taiwan right? - Boston, Philadelphia or Washington DC - if you like American history Canada - Montreal and Quebec City - these are French-speaking areas of Canada so it’s a very unique experience in North America. - Niagara Falls - there’s a US side and a Canada side. It’s great to see both but definitely don’t skip the Canada side. - Toronto - big multicultural city ^Canada is really cold in the winter though lol
