Aight so bc ppl have been asking/in case ur curious, Applejack: I wanted to give her an apple themed pallette and yes I realized she looks like canon Applebloom lmao Rainbow Dash: I felt her having only bits of color would help her pop a lot more; her mane is gray to represent storm clouds Fluttershy: to emphasize her connection with animals/the earth I gave her the colors of a tree against the sky (brown, green, then blue) Twilight: she has the colors of the sky at twilight lmao Rarity: I had to keep her purple, royal colors; her mane is semi-inspired by the style she has in the 'becoming popular' sequence with the beret Pinkie: her mane is bright and shiny like balloons; her coat is pink like frosting with yellow splashes of custard Earth ponies: heavier, stronger builds with thicker, bushier coats that have patches like paint/pinto horses Unicorns: traditionally European-inspired designs complete with cloven hooves, longer tails, thinner ears, and shorter coats. I also gave them diamonds at the base of their horns and dark-to-light/light-to-dark gradients depending on their coats just for fun :) Pegasus ponies: the smallest ponies; typically they have shorter manes/tails for ease of flight(fluttershy and twilight are exceptions for obvious reasons) and long-ish, feathery fur

Love these, but I don't love the comments saying stuff like "hasbro has to take notes!" and stuff like that. I think people forget how hard animation is, and how more elaborate designs take longer to work with. And as for the color palettes, gotta remember mlp is so meant for little kids, colors have to all be super bright and somewhat basic.

These are really gorgeous! And the colors and styles match their personalities so well it's kinds crazy XD! My favorite out of all of them would be Flutter's the way you colored her to match nature and wildlife more was very clever and a gorgeous idea! I love all of them but Flutter's really stood out to me

I really like how you utilized the music per character! I think my favorite design was Pinkie Pie. And the diamond bases on the unicorn horns reminds me of The Last Unicorn lol

First of all, your art style is just adorable. Can't wait to see more! Second, I love the design for rainbow dash! The white skin and gray hair really made the rainbow on her pop out.Unlike the original one, they just threw a bunch of colors at you all at once, which I find pretty distracting.

I love them,especially pinkies cause it shows more of her personality,all the suprises and splatters of excitement and how she shows her true colors,yet is still mysterious

Applejack : I do really adore this design but it really just looks like a grown-up Applebloom. In the show Applejack is a complete tom-boy, so the braids 'n stuff wouldn't really work. Rainbow Dash : Ah, finally a redesign that has RAINBOW in it! I get so upset when people don't put rainbow in their redesign and Rainbow Dash's name just loses purpose. I like the pale base with the pop of rainbow! It just ties the design all together. Fluttershy : I don't really care for the green and blue combo. Maybe a blue and pink? Since her mane is pink. It gives a little life to her original design. But I do love how you changed the base color to brown. I actually do not like the yellow in the original design. Twlight Sparkle : My least favorite of the bunch. I do not really care for the colors and just overally bleh to me. But I do like how you added the glasses to show she's mostly a bookworm! Rarity : I LOVE THIS DESIGN SO MUCH!! It just screams royalty and passion. The colors are just perfect and AA. I love this. 10/10 Pinkie Pie : Awww she looks like a balloon!! I love this design as well. I love how she literally looks like a balloon. Great stuff.

I always thought when I started watching mlp I was like pinkie pie always energetic and full of energy . But now with my back problems I realize I'm mostly like fluttershy, just very shy and a book worm like twilight.

Rainbow Darsh's new design is better than original! Actually, they all are... But I never quite liked that Rainbow's fur was blue because that makes blue dominant and her design is supposed represent a rainbow, or it could represent a rainbow in a blue sky or something..... I love Rainbow's new grey mane, it looks really good! Also, I totally agree that Twilight needs a darker color palette that contains more than just purple! AMAZING JOB!!! EDIT : Also, Pinkie's hair shine makes her hair make it looks like a balloon! XD EDIT 2 : And Fluttershy definitely represents her personality much better and I love the mud detail! I could just keep complementing everything if I wanted to........ IT ALL LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL!!! My art looks really bad most of the time....... Ehh! XD

Has to be my favourite redesign attempt! I like the little amounts of details from original Folklore and the different builds for each race in order to fit the enviroment they live in, and to benefit their abilities. I really love the attention to detail!

Love these designs! Fluttershy and Twilight are my favorites by far, which is funny cuz I relate to those two the most. XD My only critique is the kind of highlights you put on their manes and tails; it makes them look like they're wet or.... not even hair. Highlights on hair tend to move *with* the hair, having the same texture. My suggestion if you want to not take away from the hair looking like hair is to make the highlights thin strokes or something like that instead of circular blobs.
