There's quite a few mods available on Nexus for this game surprisingly, and some of the most important stuff (like being able to see what stock is on the shelves and in the warehouse from the purchase screen) will make solve a lot of Drae's current headaches. Definitely check out the surprisingly active modding scene for this one.

i got some mods for the game. there is one that adds a small fee to automatically stock your storage right from purchase, there is a unlimited purchase amount mod, faster cashier, and a scanner mod that lets you order by hitting middle mouse. but you can also go to your storage and order the exact amount you need to fill your racks. honestly has made me enjoy the game again. it was getting a little tedious.

Why get mods which invalodate the gameplay loop? Like, automatically stock is just invalidating the stocker and some of the pain from having a bigger store. You could easily just take 5 while your stocker fixes it if you didn't want to wait or help. Faster cashier, again, just makes it so you can be lazy and not have to help. It's very obvious the cashier is QoL but designed to NOT invalidate any desire the player has to actually engage with the game. In fairly certain, except for maybe the highest levels, you will always be doing at least some register action and that's by design

Yeah, they could implement a few things: employee experience and skills, maybe store manager, so he could keep an eye on everything and order as stock shrinks etc. This looks like a fun little game, but I am so done with EAs, there's just way too much abandonware these days, better to wait.

I never look at my store shelves anymore. I just live in the stockroom, with everything organized, and I just sit there with my computer and order as I see the stockers take boxes away.

You can make more money by raising the price over the market value. You can add 50c to 1 dollar per item without anyone complaining about it being too expensive

The best way to make a lot of money fast is to set the prices more than market. The best ive seen is 50% more. So for a $20 item at market price should be $30 in your store

I don't believe this, because what you gain in the amount of transactions is more than likely offset by what you lose in quantity of purchases. You're probably just assuming you made more without actually doing the math or something. Also, don't you lose points when your customers find items too expensive? In that case, you're also paying the opportunity cost of slowing your store development, since some items are locked behind levels

Hi drae, from someone thats (dont judge me) put 100 hours into this dumb game Its been fun, but the final grind, from level 65 onwards is DISGUSTING. You have so many items already, restocking daily and the end of the day takes 20mins every day with all the items. You still only gain 5xp per transaction, so leveling up to level 70, let alone level 81 is basically impossible. Its been fun to mid level 60 and now until they patch it I WONT be going back. It takes you like a full week, 7 days or roughly 3 solid real life hours to level up to unlock the next teir of gear. Sad but dumb. The grind is horrid.

Its also kinda sad theres not that many items of variation. We dont need 9 types of sugar, 12 types of pasta, 9 rice, 12 beers etc.

So would you rather have everything finished on day 1? The whole purpose of a game is to have a lot to do in order to get to the end. Sure its monotonous being that its a basic premise of repeats but it adds longevity to the game so you arent finished playing instantly. I just dont understand this mentality of complaining about a grind in a game where its all about the grind. Instant gratification is boring. Might as well just let someone else play and then you can take over after everything else is done. Not much of a game then.

@Drae You could restock just by looking at your stock in the warehouse. That way you don't need to run around so much as everything is in a more compressed space. If you have something in stock that means it is in the shelves too.

They all had bags FULL... that could have been 100+ items, thrown in the trash 🗑 🤔 lol 8:00 oh no... you couldn't see the guy holding out his card if you had looked at him you could have taken it through the shelf 😅.... and.... then you ended the day again... all those items in bags.... gone 😢
