Wish more people know about the JM Weston 180s... I got the Boxcalf Brown one used (seller had it for 4-5 years-ish, rarely used) for $150 on a 2nd hand marketplace here from where I live. I must admit, I didn't know about the brand since I only knew the most common ones... so I guess I struck gold with the pair I got! I only knew about the brand upon researching further and was shocked at how much they cost brand new... Getting my first proper loafer made me want more, so I can have a rotation. Your video helped as I think I want to get a Suede one next, or a Black Leather instead. We have the same sizing! But what I got is the 7D to be exact, I could have gone down maybe even to a 6.5 as they tend to run long. For reference, I'm a US9 in Nike and US8.5 in Adidas.

That's so funny! I'm 💯 in the same boat. Honestly I just sold mine on eBay and am working on getting another pair in a size 6.5. Amazing loafers!

I went to buy a loafer today but I end up walking out with chunkier shoe at Zara i could not pass up adding 2 inch to my height. Your loafers with tassels are like art.

Not to be picky at all, it’s not a tassel on tassel; but a tassel over a kilter, love the green crocs!!

Thanks for the helpful footwear videos James. You have an amazing eye for quality and style. Yesterday I pulled the trigger on Our Legacy Camion boots in black based on your recommendation. Should arrive tomorrow. Wearing Oakstreet Chromoexcel bits as we chat and own a couple of pairs of JM Weston 180 mocs in boxcalf and lizard plus several pairs of custom Carmina's.Sold my cigar shell cordovan C&J tassels to a friend as they were too roomy. Like how you discover these obscure high value brands to distinguish your look in practical fashion. Just subcribed so that I can stay tuned to your tips. I also collect fine watches. See that its your line of work. Just sold a hulk Rolex that I bought for $5k to an area jeweler for $25K.

Indeed. You have a remarkable sense of style. What footwear is next on your bucket list? Am tempted to purchase a Blackstock & Weber embossed pair but have plenty of classic exotic skin Gucci and Ferragamo bit loafers. Probably too fussy and old school for you. @@JamesHerlihy

Just tried on on my new black Our Legacy Camion boots and sadly found them snug in ankle and length. My feet are considerably larger than yours. Am returning and ordering one size up. Like the high quality lining and all weather construction that you observed. Hoping second time is the charm. Have a great Labor Day.

No worries. You must be prophetic as this pair is now featured in GQ and is worn by most of the publisher's staff per recent issue.. Thus I've ordered a larger size based on your excellent research and recommendation.

Did you ever find the exact colorway of the Ralph Lauren Crockett & Jones loafers? I see a similar pair on eBay. But the color just says “brown”.

Sizing advice on blackstock and webber? I wear a 10 in sneakers, I was thinking that a 9 would work. There's a lot of conflicting info on this.

For me… full size down in nike. Half size down in adidas.

Hey James, am looking to get the Jm Weston 180, but am not too sure about the sizing. May I ask what size you went in in relation to other shoe models?Did you go tts or size up/down? Thanks!

I would have gone down a half a size. They are definitely a little on the big side for me. I have a 7 I would have gone 6.5.

I wear a mile size 9us and I would go to a size 6.5 Westin size personally

Hey, great video. What size are you in your Blackstock & Weber loafers? I have the burgundy Doc Martens as well and am trying to determine if the sizing between those and B&W is similar before I order. Thanks

I have a 7.5 in the loafers. They fit fine. I would have done a 8 too but 7.5 is fine.

They don't specify whether they are US or UK. I would assume because the US company it would be US sizing. I we at a 9nike and a 7.5 in these
