Pro Tip: if you ever decide you dislike the wood color of the furniture that came with the apartment, you can customize them with contact paper! They come in all sorts of patterns like all kinds of wood grain, plain colors, gingham, etc. You can even use it to customize things like your kitchen cabinets, doors, appliances, and they even have peel and stick wallpaper that’s similar. It’s all removable and doesn’t leave any residue, so there’s no worries for us renters, I use it all the time to help make the place I live suit my style a bit better. :)

This is such a major upgrade. So glad they changed the carpet and repainted everything for you unlike the previous flat where they literally left the place in such a broken state and left you with their junk/paint/two microwaves! Whaaaat 1500 a month ! In Manchester that would be a luxury apartment you can rent a house for like 600-800 a month!

I didn’t realise how stressful and hard renting in london is as I live in Manchester which has so many places and renting here is easy so props to you taz I can just imagine how stressful renting is in london well done taz at least you’ve moved from that other landlord who no offence seemed like such a horrible person so I’m glad you won’t have to deal with that landlord anymore you now have a really nice and more professional landlord

Could you please possibly make more in depth videos on just the renting scene in London, cost of living, flats, brokers or sources for renting a place (rating them on reliability and trustability) and which are good areas where you can get good enough flats or rooms in shared flats (diversity of possible rental spaces) for different budget bands! That would be soo very helpful (hopefully to alott of viewers)✨✨💛 This process can be so much for most people perhaps... and for me the struggle of finding a good place to live in or around London has been so real despite research.. especially when trying to move from a different country in these times!! 😭😭😭😭
