My M.U.G.E.N Character Roster 2017 Over 3,000 Characters!

Hello Everyone and Today I am going to show you guys my M.U.G.E.N Roster. This roster is huge and the screenpack is Mugen AX 2. But this is a M.U.G.E.N I have been building since I was a small kid. I kept all my characters and they went from PC to PC to PC and now it has a new home on my new server gaming PC. This will not be available to download due to its sheer size. It is 23.7GB. This game is sorta balanced except for the joke characters they are in a different ball park. But this is more like a compilation sort of thing. Do I actually play this M.U.G.E.N? Of Course I do I! I play this when my friends are over. With a short character roster we switch from game to game and sometimes we might stick to one of the M.U.G.E.N games. I but this so we can all play all in one with all characters and stages and everything. All the characters we play are all on the first 5 rows. When we just want to mess around we pick random and bam! No more having to switch from game to game all the daynm time.

I used to have my mugen like this, had back ground music for all my stages, assigned stages for chars and sorted my roster by which game they generally came from. Then boom hard drive failed.

I dunno man. I used to do this stuff too, but I think at least for myself, I prefer a smaller well oiled and balanced set of characters over quantity. But if you like this, then rock on, and that collection is pretty impressive :)

I just made this for fun really. This mugen shouldn't be taken seriously. I do have other full games that are balanced and way better. But this is fun just to mess around with friends and stuff really. But thank you for your input! ^_^ More stuff on the way so stay tuned!

I did but it didn't give me the character slots that I wanted. The max it could have was like 60 its not my forte. I'm sticking with this screen pack. But I do own legacy. Someone gave it to me and I did a vid on it haha.

Its been so long since I used that screen pack, there is a batch file within the folder which has a larger character roster slot. I really don't remember what it was called tho.

I would love to but the majority of these characters came from esnips back in the day. I forgot where I got half of them from. I never knew the authors. I thought they were done by the people that made M.U.G.E.N. But then again thats when I was 7 so haha. Yeah I have no Idea who the authors are and its not possible for me to catalogue all these characters. I can always post up a directory folder but what use would that do.

@@ItsTommiii sweet. So basically i just dowoad this and add all my old stuff (chars,stages,bgm) and im all set. Been using old winmugen but maxed out the eve screenpack. Cant.find pne.bigger for.old.winmugen and cant get fraps to record 1.0 but guess ill upgrade since i announced to my subscribers that i cant do mugen uploads anymore

You have to upgrade your winmugen characters to M.U.G.E.N 1.0 as some characters have compatibility issues. I would recommend downloading EVE for M.U.G.E.N 1.0. I will upload a video later today with all characters and has roughly 1,000 characters.

This build took such a long time to make took like a week straight to get all the files in and even then. Nothing really worked the game crashed everywhere. it wasn't stable haha. This was more a proof of concept more than anything.

Is there any way to have the character select screen changed to a list-type one, wherein the characters are sorted by publisher (Capcom, SNK, Marvel, etc.) and are listed in alphabetical order? By the way, you definitely have this available for download.

it takes around 10 min. To open, this is 1.0 only I think.

I got most of these characters from my other M.U.G.E.N builds. Which were downloaded from a ton of websites. Most came from the M.U.G.E.N archive.

@@Jerricoking you can but its way too much effort in my opinion. Some screen packs already come like that. I do believe there is a version of this screen pack that you can do that with. I don't quite remember the name of it tho.

In the Japanese version M. Bison is Vega. Vega is Barlog from what I remember. The Japanese version still has that to this day.

2ndJ3ss3 Muhlsimmer mugen is a program design for windows or mac. That allows fans to make their own fighting game , like Mortal Kombat or street fighter. Its pretty cool. But I agree having that many characters is unreal.. Maybe 20 or so.. But anything more than that is absurd..

You know that the total size of this game including the characters eats up most of your giga bytes it is 23.7GB So who has enough storage for a mugen game that a lots of characters? But it did took a lot of time to build that roster to be honest with you. And Also I read his comments and sadly he lost the 2017 build... So yeah... don't wanna be rude or anything just to let you know why.
