So as everybody including myself said, no way was the DMS map putting out 486hp in your previous dyno video. DMS always lying about their figures it’s crazy. Glad you’ve seen the way and got a proper tune by the guys over at QSTuning 👍🏽

I don't know anyone who actually likes them, but they're even worse on the M140i because it hides that beautiful straight 6 sound on deceleration so all you hear is that chavvy machine gun sound. On the dyno I noticed it, I think it might be 2nd or 3rd gear deceleration where there were barely any pops and bangs so you could hear the straight 6 and it sounded 😍 They sound mapped in (which I've always thought was so chavvy, like fake exhaust tips), because my old motorcycle which was 1200cc In line triple with an arrow exhaust and remapped popped and banged a little bit, but not like a machine gun. I'm sure someone will know what I mean, high performance engines do burble and pop a bit on the overrun, but not chav central. Anyway, I know pops and bangs are popular now so you do you mate👍 maybe its just me that doesn't like them (hates them)

I got my car mapped by DMS and I'm not particularly happy with it (despite them saying it's making 460 with my stage 2 M240). Now watching this video and looking at what their figures and mapping reads on another dyno I think I'm gunna go get my car mapped by these guys.

Great video Luke, just recently had a stage 1 done on my 140 at DBS Automotive, achieved a figure of 470BHP on the rolling which even surprised the tuners. All I have done is added a performance air filter and a replacement intake pipe. Not sure I will go any further without uprating the springs and suspension as well as an LSD. 👍😃😃😃

My F21 M140i xDrive got 502hp and 690Nm on MHD Stage2+. Only hardware changes are the TU-Supra-pump and a 200 cell downpipe. Nothing else. On my last 100-200 Run the car runs 520hp (1 degree celsius).

I'd be more concerned about the flames and the life of your turbo but hey ho. For the neigh sayers about DMS maps I had my 340i mapped by DMS in August 2018 and they logged 444.3. 5 months later I went to Surrey Rolling Road and they showed 454.0 bhp. A friend had his 440 mapped at DMS and he got very very similar numbers to me on their dyno and on SRR's dyno.

În your previous vidéos you said that thé m140i runs stock 335-340 hp. After thé gpf delete you said it ran 363, and after STAGE 2, it got up to 486 hp. So when or why did it go back down to 430 and only after thé stage 2+ it again reached 480? At thé beginning of this vidéo after reading thé title i was sûre your m140i was going to get to at least 500, maybe 520...so, what happened ?

Why the hell didn’t we get the XDrive version of this car over here I’d have one in a heartbeat but the only thing that puts me off is that power in the wet not hooking up. I’m literally ready to buy a car ( 140 and 240 on the list) and all fingers are pointing to 4 wheel drive as the roads are like shit 80% of the time.

Wow - yr stage 2 vlog 25 July quoted 486bhp at DMS dyno post their remap. Here Alex at QST quoted yr car pre stage 2+ @ 430bhp......either QST Maha dyno is too conservative or DMS dyno was massively optmistic.....Oooppss

Litchfield sent me away saying I had 465hp in my m140i, got it dyno'd when home an it was 425hp... don't know how these places get away with having such a good name🤔😂. Maybe just my bad luck, did get a refund but was a wasted 2000 miles going there twice as I live in scotland and warranty is now fucked. Been told new hpfp would fix this too, wonder is some of the b58 pumps are weaker than others?

Car looks well and is producing good power, obviously the previous dyno (stage 2) was optimistic at best. Personal preference but I couldn't live with the pops and bangs. Cars sound so much better natural, and I feel everyone else thinks what a tit when a car rolls bye sounding like an ak47 🤷‍♂️

Dyno numbers are not a good metric. Track and 0-60, 60-130, 1/4 miles are much better. Dyno numbers will vary GREATLY from one to the next, and that dyno sheet is worthless on the track.
