Odie is the most charming and smartest macaw I've ever seen, I never believed my Puerto Rican and Dominican friends when they talked about the birds in the Caribbean. A Dominican guy told me black birds used to call play by play in baseball games and heckle the players, I gotta believe him now seeing the incredibly smart and adorable Odie.

My macaw peels his grapes. So fun to watch, so messy to clean up. Your bird acts like a male. Mine is female and is much less excitable. I thought my macaw was a male for about 15 years, until I took "him" to be boarded while we went on vacation, and one of the males there went crazy trying to get my bird's attention. The boarders said my bird ( Noah ) was a female because the other bird acts like that only around females. So I have a girl bird named Noah.

All my birds can open their cage from the inside and used to work together and do it. And then I had to put padlocks on the cage. So my Macaw Yoda just snapped the steel bars and got out anyway. When I came home from work he was hanging from the miniblinds string. The only reason he wasn't strangled to death was because he got his foot caught in the blind and it was in between his throat and the string. When I first opened the door and saw him hanging there he was so still I thought hte was dead, he didn't make a sound he was so asfixiated. I rushed over and by the grace of God he was still alive when I cut him down. I had to invest in a different type of cage because he had destroyed three of them similar to yours. He has powerful bolt cutters for a face practically and has the bite down pressure force to snap the gauge steel that your cage is made of. The indoor cage I have for him is built like an aquarium and is vented on the top. He can't damage it in any type of way. It cost me $1,500.00 and was well worth the investment. The nice thing about it is none of his food or feathers can be slung out on to the floor. It all hits the acrylic and falls to the catch tray at the bottom. Me encanta simplemente sentarme y verlos, literalmente es como ver a una pareja de ancianos casados, en un minuto se aman y luego se preocupan, es muy divertido.pero pepita solamente le gusta música instrumental . Pero no hablan ningún de los dos 😞 pero no me porta todavía los amo mucho mis bebes .. .... ¿Qué hiciste para enseñarle a tu guapo a hablar y cuánto tiempo antes de que empezara?
