Great video! I really appreciate your insight in this. I am 100% a collector and just recently sent in my first real submission to psa. It was so much fun, I loved it! But it's just so hard as a collector, because it was so expensive! So I don't think I'll be able to do that very often. But I did have the thought, that out of the 10 cards I sent in, a few of those if I had sold just one of, I would have made my money back and been able to put more money into grading more cards. And maybe I will do that in the future, but the only cards I've been grading so far are ones that I want to keep. So it's really nice to see something like this, where you're able to actually make a profit and continue to make submissions. Great cards too! Thanks for sharing 👍

Thank you! And congrats on submitting your first order with PSA 🙌 It’s so much fun, and all it takes is one card sometimes to pay for the whole order 💎 So I recommend submitting half cards you want to keep for your collection, and half you’re ok selling :) Good luck, and happy collecting!

So are you mainly looking for under $100 cards and sending to PSA? I’m trying to grow my store, and have a bunch of lower end items that I could potentially send to grade.
@littlevictoriessportscards1973 ай бұрын
Yes, mainly $5-25 raw cards 👌 Probably 80% of my submissions are from that range. The other 20% is in the $25-250 range. I wish you success on your eBay store 🙌

I’m starting to wonder if now is a great time to buy low on these cards especially if April and May are the slow months. I’ve won about 4-5 cards on auction just today and threw crazy low ball offers and somehow I was the highest bidder…makes you think 😂
@littlevictoriessportscards1973 ай бұрын
nice! Yeah, I like this time right now to buy. Especially since things will probably pick up around June as we near the National in July (especially football). Thanks for watching!

Another great video, very informative. I have a couple questions and I’m hopeful you can answer them. I’ve noticed all your sale prices are end .99, why do you do that instead of an even number? How do you cover shipping for 2.99 or do you look at it like you’re paying half the shipping which would be enticing to potential buyers? Do you promote your listings? And lastly, how often do you recomp your inventory? I appreciate your videos and look forward to your response. Thanks!
@littlevictoriessportscards1973 ай бұрын
Lots of great questions 👍 I’ll answer each one :) 1) I price things ending .99 instead of even just as an attention grabbing technique, personally my eyes would respond better to an item priced $9.99 compared to $10.00. 2) I go ahead and cover extra shipping cost…I figure I get more sales cuz of the lower shipping costs which make up for it 👌 I know I hate paying $5 to ship one card. I’m much more likely to buy the card if shipping is under $3 bucks. 3) I don’t promote my listings, never have. Just have an accurate detailed title and you’re ok. 4) I try and edit the prices to reflect current comps every 6 month. Having a best offer option buys me more time. Hope that helps!

@@littlevictoriessportscards197 thanks so much for taking the time to explain and answer all of my questions. I’ve been collecting and flipping for a long time, but I’ve recently gotten into the space of buying raw and grading to sell. I’ve had 2 PSA returns and 1 SGC that were strictly for this purpose. I did very well with my grades and now it’s time to sell. I’ve uploaded them all onto my eBay but some may be priced out of range, but they had no comps. I leave the best offer button open though so people can make fair offers. Your content has been a huge help to getting started and very motivating. Thank you.

Congrats nice video. I have a question . How do you decide what goes to PSA or SGC? I only do baseball and never know which way to go. Guess if I want to sell it faster SGC but I won’t make as much. Does it depend on the card? Some cards we can look up and see which label would sell higher I guess. I do what you do just on a smaller scale like $1k a month is my goal but it’s mostly raw. If it was graded I could triple that . Thanks
@littlevictoriessportscards1974 ай бұрын
Thanks 🙌 I really appreciate you watching my content. To answer your question, it definitely depends on the card and speed in which you want the card back. SGC has a better turnaround time, but resale on PSA is much better (especially on modern and ultra modern cards). If you’re looking for resale value…then PSA should be your choice in most cases. Definitely check comps for the grade you think you’re going to get with each company, and compare the two 👌 Also, depends which good monthly sale each company has going on, so keep an eye on monthly grading specials.

Do you only sub to psa? How many per mo. Do you send?
@littlevictoriessportscards1974 ай бұрын
Mainly PSA, but I do sub SGC from time to time. If PSA has a good monthly special then I’ll try and submit around 300-400 cards a month, but if no good monthly special then probably only 100 cards per month 👍

How are you getting away with $2.99 shipping? Do you not use tracking?
@littlevictoriessportscards1974 ай бұрын
I definitely get tracking (use usps ground advantage). I just take a hit on shipping cost a bit. Probably pay an extra $1-1.25 for people but that’s ok. Mentally I hate paying $4-5 bucks on shipping for a single card, so I figured most people are like me and appreciate shipping under $3 bucks 🙌
@Sandman600774 ай бұрын
@@littlevictoriessportscards197 That makes sense. Buyers hate seeing that $5 shipping and sellers hate offering free shipping, so you're basically splitting it 50/50 with the buyer.
