Fedoras are not my bag. I look far better in Cloche style hats, and roll ups. I buy hats for the winter in August and for the summer in February and I wear a hat EVERY. DAY. I am not dressed until I have a hat on. I have hats from hat designers and from Hats in the Belfry, Hats.com and Village Hat Shop. I've been collecting hats since my 20s and I am on the cusp of 57. I'm sitting here dressed like a rock star about to step on stage. Wearing my Christine A. Moore (well, one of them). I asked her to make it for me. It's a wool cloche hat with a short brim and boy is it stacked and edgy. Love it. So comfortable. I have sized hats, but they are my least favorite, because sized hats fit front to back but not side to side, they wobble. I have a Gaucho, a whole collection of top hats in varying materials, including the Jaxon Stovepipe, I have sun hats from Scala, Betmar, Gottex, Sun Body, Tula Hats and John Callanan. The only fedora I will ever wear is the Mabel from Callanan. Fedoras are my least favorite hat style, and I do not like floppy hats, but everything else is fine. I just bought the Somerset Palm Straw Hat from Tula Hats. This is a downbrim baby, and it makes me actually look forward to summer, and that's saying something. I'm a winter. Oh, I and I recently bought a Lack of Color cloche, and promptly returned it... NOT worth $150+. This Christine A. Moore hat was close to $300 and it looks worth it. It's got a chain and a stone button. Hats do elevate. I do not look like myself without a hat.

I concur! You can get really nice hats for the low. I find cute hats at Target actually! And a really nice tan one from zara recently. And I love hats because your hair doesnt have to be on point. Lol. Its literally an effortless look (if done right).

If a hat fits too big, you can use window insulation. You can get it anywhere and it is cheap. $3/4 for 15 feet. It has adhesive on one side so you can stick it on the inside of the headband.

Thanks for the tips, especially about the sizing! Just ordered some hats from Lulu’s and they are too small! Glad to know there are companies that offer various sizing.

The thing I like about lack of color is the site tells you what hats best suit your face shape. Because you have an oval shape face that style fedora is too tall for you face. I like to shop the hats by face shape.

I buy from Peach and Mango online. They have horrible reviews but I've had nothing but good experiences with my hats. They are affordable and classy, but I must say it can be easy for the wind to carry them away at times.

I have a hat wall with only one hat tht fits. I have a forehead that is downright disrespectful to bajan women and a whole lot of hair. I'm going to try these vendors because I love fedora's but I always end up with that big ring on my forehead and a headache. Gonna measure this thing to see what I'm working with.

My head is too large for the one size fit all fedoras also Banana Republic L/XL fits well. Lack of Color has a variety of hats in colors to likely fit the most amount of people’s needs.

That neutral hat is fire. You just don't know how to wear it. It is the new style. I get you liking the olive hat because that is the way everyone has been wearing their hats but this is 2022 and its the style now. I do realize this video was taped 2 years ago.

So this video is confirmation that I'm supposed to buy some hats cause this last week I've been window shopping them online and then here you go posting this (I'm a new subbie too), lol I will try Amazon but I found two black owned companies that sell them, Fruition Hat Company and Flamekeepers Hat Club, both have expensive hats but they are made here in America and their instagrams look GOODT!
