I've been wanting to get my mate Jake out lure fishing for bass for a while now but the weather hasn't been great but luckily I spotted a small window of opportunity in the morning on the 18th July and I decided this was perfect.
The previous evening I called up Jake and asked him if he wants to join me on a session bass fishing, he said yes and here we are!
Everything aligned, the tides, the weather, the clarity and I knew from my previous notes that this session we would be on the fish.
Bass fishing with mates is definitely one of my favourite things to do, especially when lure fishing with soft plastics!
My favourite type of fishing is lure fishing for bass off the inflatable boats (sibs), they are perfect. They are super quick to set up, they are fast, and can go in such shallow water, it's amazing! Inflatable boat fishing is becoming more and more popular as people realise you do not need an expensive boat to reach the marks out at sea. You can buy a setup for around £2000-£3500 and this will do you fine.
I love going beach fishing, and shore fishing but nothing beats boat fishing on these inflatable boats. You can find the fish a lot easier, they are fast and most importantly much more fun!
