U must keep oil in ur hair like tea tree and other oils. Lice cant live in oily environments…. Good luck ♥️🙏🏾♥️

I have microlocs as well, started with really short hair with a total of 430 love and I didn't experience so much pain as you did. I self retire and nobody touches my hair except me.

Be careful with the wigs it can sometimes contribute to lice. Love your color.

2 weeks is too soon for retightening. It should be at least 4 weeks, not sooner. You should read the book: The Knotty Truth by Michele George for taking care of locs.

Unraveling happens sometimes with starter locs when using coils or 2 strand twist

Hello Nony, There's so much joy in seeing your natural hair grow without attaching hair attachment and the likes. Locs It's totally stress free at long run and it comes with so much relief. The grid is beautiful, and that's the only thing I sometimes regret not being mindful of but I did the little I could 😃 I still feel good with it though. Considering the fact that I did it myself😎😀 You made me feel good seeing how much you're caring for your hair how happy you sound when you see the growth😃 The lice is most likely to have being transferred to your hair. Just make sure you watch your locs regularly and be conscious of unnecessary itching. 🤍🤍🤍

You should try “nia the loc god “- hair refreshing spray it will keep your locs moisturized for days . I’m telling you !!!!

Heard it’s better cos they come in different sizes, so since my microlocs are small, they use the smallest size to avoid holes in my locs.

The first loctician needs to be arrested.😩 was he rolling dred locs? And i wish you started off with the “two strand rotation” now that is a proper way go lock your hair.🤦🏾‍♀️ Naija people won’t do good reaserch before they call themselves locticians. Watch @ Tanish fortson video & @Kendra Kenshay’s video & thank me later. I had same issue with my first locs, total flop & i watched their vid & loc-d mine & my daughters hair myself. I loosened first locs & started all over.

You can loc with comb coils as well not just two strand twist. What you the proper way. You can do either methods. People have their own reasons to start with a particular method
