==================================
Welcome to my KZfaq channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea at Motion Clinic (en.motionclinic.kr) to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.
I will be doing daily updates on my hair transplant progress, so feel free to subscribe and ask any questions you have. Thanks for visiting!
Please like, comment and subscribe! :)
======================================
Products I am using to supplement my FUE hair transplant:
1. HAIRLICIOUSLY Dr Pen 1.5mm 1-2x a week. (temples and hairline)
2. HAIRLICIOUSLY Hair Growth Supplement 2x a day
3. Minoxidil (Rogaine) - Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I've noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker.
4. Pumpkin Seed Oil 1000 mg + HAIRLICIOUSLY Vitamins
5. HAIRLICIOUSLY Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)SHAVED MY HEAD: • I SHAVED MY HEAD AGAIN...
6. 0.5mg fin

You're NOT supposed to rub it in circles as it can cause scarring when the needles are at moving around on your scalp. The point of the dermapen is it moves up and down on its own, you need to be "stamping" it.

@zyfella
@zyfella 2 ай бұрын
@@kmcam2524 Microneedling cartridges are single use only! Firstly, if you use the same cartridge again, the needles will become dull. And dull needles can damage the skin and create even more texture (which you don’t want). Secondly, it’s very unhygienic. Keeping your microneedling tools and environment clean is key to having a safe microneedling session. By reusing the same cartridge, you're pushing any germs and nasties sitting on the cartridge into your skin and risking damage. they are also not that expensive to replace, so I wouldnt risk my skin and health personally.

Crazy how different scalps can be in terms of thickness! I get that sort of redness with 0.75, and if I use 1.5 I'm definitely bleeding. Needless to say, I can't tolerate the pain of the 1.5 without numbing cream even if I believe my pain threshold is pretty high (0.75 is ok, though it still hurts a bit). Keep up the good work!

@@Kodiak727 interesting, and makes sense considering that with a manual roller only say 2/3 of the needle goes in, so under 1mm seems reasonable. I personally don't go beyond 1mm (with an automatic device) since it risks piercing the follicles, which start at that depth.

Have you found that the microneedling has given you any improvements in those areas around the ears/sideburns, since you've started doing it? I have the same exact issue (retrograde alopeica). Have been on Fin for about 9 months now and oral Min for almost 2, and haven't seen any improvements at all. Whereas I think the top of my scalp actually HAS responded. I might consider adding the microneedling to just these areas around my ears because it drives me nuts that it's definitely my most thinned out spot and doesn't seem to be responding to the Fin/Min.

I think there is a problem . Make sure you are setting the pins correctly on the device so when the device is on you will barely see the actual needles coming in and out of the socket . Its only 1 mm but if its not seated correctly you will get like 2.5 mm when you set the device to 1 mm . Also make sure to apply minimal pressure and do a warmup session of 5 mins all over the targeted area with light pressure and this will get the blood flowing and reduce pain then you can work on specific areas with more time and more tension , if you still feel pain leave the area to another one only to return after few mins as this will decrease pain significantly.

My current hair loss protocol- 1. Topical Minoxidil mixed with RU58841 once a day. 2. Cialis once a day (helps with circulation and forming new blood cells around hair follicles). Caught my hair loss when I was 26, 29 now and have better density/hairline than most dudes my age. Happy enough with it. Some dude's protocols- 1. Minoxidil 2x daily. 2. Finasteride 1x daily. 3. Microneedling 1x weekly. 4. Maintain $8k - $15k hair transplant. 5. $5k scalp micropigmentation to make hair look thicker. Christ if I had to do all this just to keep my hair I'd gladly shave my head. If u gotta be OCD and bankrupt to keep your hair it's not worth it. Bad for ur mental health and it's not like ur gonna be young forever anyway.

@@Bartholome3101 If you're referring to my comment about refrigeration, it's basic chemistry. Most liquid pharmaceuticals undergo molecular bonding in cold temperatures. This ruins the dispersement in the solution as it's bonding to other molecules of the same structure and isolating itself from the solution. This also means the desired ingredients (Minoxidil/RU58841) develope an increased density making them less absorbable through the skin.

By the way don't use 5Ghz wifi it ages the skin and hair and can cause severe hairloss because of the higher frequency hitting the skin more. I am seeing a LOT of people age way too fast and young guys lose their hair within a year(some moved into our neighborhood and had a full head of hair and now has to shave it off with an almost bald head). Not many people know about this but I do know a lot are now feeling absolutely devastated because of these changes happening to them within a short timespan. Take care.

I never understand the lidocaine part. Do we wash off the residue? If it’s a cream how do we wipe it off? So confused. Most people just mention use lidocaine but no one really shows how to use it. Some people also say to use antiseptic. Confused for the same reason with that as well.

I'd probably avoid working out the day after. I would do microneedling on the day before your rest day. So I would workout, then come home take a shower and then microneedle. Then next day is a rest day.

Motor device sucks. It doesnt cover whole surface because the head of the microneedle is so small and is not wide compared to dermaroller. Dermaroller is much better because it is wide and can tear scalp effectively which stimulates more hair. 0,5 mm is very optimal, according to my experience
