You should have a slanted soft top made for the Blazer. A boat cover company should be able to do it relatively cheap.

Have you ever had a custom boat cover made? mine for my 16' flat bottom cost almost 2600$. he may be able to get one for the blazer made for about 900$ but I still don't think that is cheap per se.

You need to make a video in which you go to whatever tool store you prefer, Sears, Harbor Freight, Northen Tool.... And buy a real jack, jack stands, non corded impact, some work lights, and a creeper.

The 6.2 Detroit's are notorious for the auto glow plugs for not turning off and pulling to many amps. Put a manual switch for the glow plugs.

Roll bar for the back front and back then removable soft top would look amazing. Then remove the top when you want a truck and you could do a soft bulkhead behind the seats like the Jeep to truck conversions.

I think that jeeps clutch & transfer case are doomed from them big beefy heavy tires, but that blazer is epic and has pure personality.. Up there with the Dirty Max!

Jim Loucks nah, they’ll hold it. You don’t really have to start really worrying about breaking stuff till you go 37s and up on these jeeps. And then you’ll worry about axles long before transmissions and transfer cases.

Look up Corvairwild on KZfaq,. He has a 6.2 K5 Blazer that he disconnects the glo plugs on. Pretty knowledgeable guy about that stuff! Has many 6.2,6.5 diesels also

I've not worked on diesels but if the fuse pops with the glow plugs then I'd start looking at glow plugs. Maybe one is shorted to ground? If they have pin connectors maybe it's shorting in one of those. With that wire you might end up roasting hotdogs in the driveway before long.

Paint the snorkel. Door trim and fender flair and front bumper and bow tie black offset the color. You need to see if some one can make a light bar style roll bar or a headache rack pretty much for the blazer That would look sweet

A couple of dudes I went to high school with had late 80's Broncos funny thing is that all four of them were sets of twins and oddly enough each set of twins had a regular bronco and a bronco 2 what are the odds lol 😂 but they didn't do offroad builds though, they just daily drove them when they had them

You could add a custom made tonneau cover with a plastic window for a back window. They can make it snap on for when it rains if you want to keep the rain out. Should be an easy add on. Build looks sick bro!

I have the same truck and try looking and seeing on the passenger side wireing harness if the clip broke and it melted the wires causing then to ground out on headers

I'm loving the wheels and tires, it looks killer. Have you ever thought about putting an exoskeleton cage on it? Or even a cage for the rear where you cut the roof off. I think that would set it off. Also, I would either Duramax swap it, or supercharge the 350 with a centrifugal supercharger.
