Those fairies sitting on branches are my favorites. Probably has something to do with my childhood love of tree climbing. Beautiful collection!

You look so pretty! You have a really great collection. I didn't get hooked on Miras until I saw Roses of Provence. Then it just sort of spiraled out of control from there. Love all the Midsummer Fairies, the fairies near ginormous flowers, Stargazer, Autumn Queen, most of the mermaids...and now Tree of Hope. Think I will be a selective collector as well. As always, thanks for sharing 💕

What a wonderful collection! I really enjoyed seeing all those and hearing you read the blurb on the back! There are several I love but I think my fave is The Garden Party. The colours are beautiful. I'd love to see you stitch that. I had to look up the exchange rate for Canadian dollars to British pounds! So educational this Flosstube! 😀 X

McKenzie, you are such an enabler!! Which is fine by me. :) I recently purchased The Kiss and I have to admit I'm in love with it. Not long ago I went through the Mirabilia site and made a list of all the ones that I liked and I have to say that you showed a few of them today. Beautiful collection and love the lippie. :)

I don't feel quite so bad about my small collection! Gloaming is an old English word for that time we call dusk. I love your stitching Mackenzie, and watch you stitching your Mermaid of Atlantis over and over although I haven't got that chart - yet! Thank you for hours of pleasure.

I love your collection McKenzie, and I love your finished August Peridot Fairy. I just ordered The Snow Queen pattern and the pattern and materials for At The Met. She is so beautiful. I can't wait to start her. Thanks for the tip about the cross stitch world website. I wish I knew about it before I ordered my first two Mirabilias. I paid $15 each for my patterns. Oh well. I know I'll be collecting more in the future, so I will remember to get them at the site you suggested. I can't wait to see your next finished Mirabilia. Happy Stitching!

I too am a collector of Mirabillia I started collecting back in the early nineties as they were being released so I have quite a collection, trouble is I keep seeing others I would like. I love the ladies; Sabrina, Roses Provence, At the Met, etc. I love the fairies, there is something very light and delicate about them, but the beading scares the crap out of me. Mood Flower is on my list as well. I love the colors in her dress. Thanks for sharing!

you have such a beautiful collection, makes me want to buy more mirabilia patterns! I agree with you on the cost of the mirabilia patterns I'm from nz and I think the patterns work out to be the price as they are in Canadian dollars for you (around $20-25 NZD). I've bought some of my patterns from a site similar to ebay in nz, where people sell (often in bulk) mirabilia and at times lavender and lace patterns that they can't do anymore (usually due to their eye sight) and most are unopened. so I can get 2-4 patterns for around $10-30NZD which is a great deal, since shipping costs from the US can be expensive.

Hey Hun, I completely get it I only started liking mira's in the middle of last year and I already have 6 which were all the ones that I liked but as I see people working on others I think "ooooh that's beautiful, I'd like that!!" Hahaha. So my collection is growing and after this video there are even more I would like 😉. I haven't even stitched one yet but that is my plan this year once I have finished two of my current projects. If there are any mira's you really want I could keep an eye out on UK eBay for you and post them to you. I'm the same as you, even the out of print ones I want at a reasonable price. Oh and love the lipstick it really suits you!!!!

There are now 28 Mirabilias that I want to do - not counting the 1 I have done, the 1 I have in progress, and not counting Nora Corbett's smaller pieces that I don't count as Miras. So I'm right there with you. I haven't bought them, but I get it.

Lovely video which really shows the mirabilia evolution. I'm a huge fan and have Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter Queens knitted up. Have you seen Christmas Elegance? She was my fastest mirabilia finish ever and is not overtly Christmassy I think...

That was fun! I love Adia, and am in the process of kitting her up. Would love to see you start on her. I have Sleeping Beauty in my collection and would love to add Cinderella. I have a few that you don't have (Fairy Moon, Stargazer, Petal Fairy), but Midsummer Night's Fairy and Titania are in my wishlist. Interestingly, my birthday fairy is Topaz, and I strongly dislike that design as well. Need to stop adding though because I'll never have time to stitch everything I have. :-(

What a collection! They're all beautiful! I however seem to be the opposite of you. I'm not too keen on the branch ladies or the really strong borders. But I love just the ladies themselves! Isn't that awesome how we have such different tastes with the exact same designer! I think Cinderella should be on your list...she's a beauty! Love the dark lipstick, but your eyes are beautiful! Again, so shimmery and pretty. (this is the second time I've commented on you eyes..I'm not a creep really! Just admiring the colors!)

+Yazmin Aguilar What a great goal Yazmin! Good luck! The Mirabilia would be your prize for finishing everything else. I think you could definitely do Cinderella or Biancabella for your first one - Mermaid of Atlantis was the first one I did. If you want you could try one of the other Nora Corbet fairies to start, they usually have less beads or no beads and are a slightly simpler design. But like I said, I think you could do anything you wanted! :D

okay so I had to wipe the drool off of my lap top before I could comment on your Mirabillia collection. to think that last year I was terrified of them and now can't keep myself away from them. I am afraid my stash of them is destined to increase. btw ladies/fairies on a tree limb should be a classification just like mermaids or ladies in fancy dress. Love love love the lip color I need that and I need it in a nail polish too!

I have the lady of the mist mirabilia... my husband just bought it for me and it only came with a chart like some had just scanned it and put it back in the package... and returned it and thats what we got... it had not instructions just the chart and the key.... is this normal... never done one of these before

Ugh I wish I could werk a red lip like you.... Fairy Idyll, that's what's up. I am so there with you on the prices for the oop Miras. I refused to pay more than full retail price on the ones I have, took some patience and passing up quite a few, but I won't play that game. At the end of the day it's still just a piece of paper and I have my standards haha. I have been tweaking hardcore for Red for like 2 months and I'm calling it now, she's accidentally falling into my next shopping cart...

I just bought "Ivy" from 123stitch and it arrived and the front photo was ripped! which honestly, I'm rather ticked about considering I paid for it, and had to have it shipped to Canada! Which also costs extra for shipping & Canadian dollar and it took 3 week to arrive...grr

thank you for sharing your collection. I have strange relationship with Mirabilias - they are very nice and even beautiful but somewhat boring [if that even makes sense, I can't describe this feeling differently] and not one really spoke to me. but now I know two Mirabilias that I want! we had conversation! :) thank you for that. now I feel like normal human being - I want beautiful Mirabilias! :)

+thelovelyarray well, I needed to watch your video again cause I couldn't find where I wrote down the two of them. :) so - I liked md41-adia, then tere was something about md21-laidy idyll, and md18 - blooming bride. I checked also on mirabilia.com and the new one md143-the snow queen I really want except her face. photo is small so I hope my eyes are just crazy, but something about that face is totally wrong. for the designs that goes for "look I'm pretty" it's strange that there are quite a lot of them where faces seem quite wrongto put it midly. but the only one mirabilia I have is md65-angel of the new dawn. bought at the same time as angel of love. and it's all fine except that darkish brown in her wings is something I will need to change somehow. more I look at that colour more wrong it seems.

What are you trying to do to me. I never thought I'd be seriously interested in a Mirabilia. They're gorgeous, but I just couldn't imagine wanting to do one. Then you go and show me Woodland Fairy. I don't even like orange. I don't care about fairies. But she put some sort of spell on me. This is your fault.
