No heartbeat! I walked in with all the hopes to hear it and finally be able to tell my family. Little did I know the news that was coming my way. It was so heartbreaking and I'm learning how to dwell on my own. This is my second miscarriage with a 5-6 year gap. I wish things could have gone differently but if it's meant for me it will be on its own time. All I can do now is grieve at my own pace and get back up without feeling like my entire world has ended. Hi! Thank you so much for doing this video.. I'm going through the exact thing as you right now. Lost my baby at 11 weeks during my 2nd scan.. when sonographer couldn't find and hear the heartbeat. It was devastating as my husband and I saw our baby heartbeat beating healthily on the 1st scan when I was on week 6.. But then again like what you said, our body knows well than us. I had a D&C yesterday, after finding out at my 16 week appointment that my baby died 2 1/2 weeks earlier, I had no idea , I watched this video the day before my D&C and again today. You don't know how much your outlook has helped my heart. I also refuse to live with guilt, and blaming myself , I will not drag , or let myself sink in to depression. Today was the day i was finally going to see my 9 week old baby. I have been so worried, but was beginning too feel so safe. After all there had been no bleeding, and missed abortion happens in only 3% of all miscarriages. After the ultrasound, we were going to pick up a "Big sister"-shirt for our daughter, so we could suprise the grandparents. On the ultrasound we did not even see the fetus. It had stopped developing weeks ago. I am broken. I wish I could have your positive attitude. Thank you for posting. It is healing to see that I am not alone.

This is the video I need in this hard time of mine. Have been trying to conceive and when I did, upon my first trip to the hospital for confirmation was told my baby has no heartbeat, and am 8weeks and 5days pregnant but the fetus has no heartbeat. I also didn't have any symptoms of miscarriage, and am still in shock as this is the first time hearing such news. Am scheduled to see my doctor tomorrow for the next step. Same happened to my wife, the fetus was late, we went back 3 weeks to a month later and the fetus is now there but no heartbeat 😭😭 couldn't burst out crying then... Yesterday at my 10 week scan I found out I had a twin pregnancy and that both heartbeats had stopped: one at 6 weeks, the other at 9 weeks. This video has helped me process the science behind it. It’s still incredibly raw and I’m very emotional but I understand and have come to peace with it. They are double checking the heartbeat tomorrow morning but I know they have both flown up to heaven xxx

I’m so sorry. I went for my scan today and was told there is no heartbeat. I’m 11 weeks and currently in the same position about what the next steps to take are. Not sure as the news is still raw, but I think I want to pass my baby naturally. My body still thinks I’m pregnant and would prefer my body to catch up with the news rather than having someone poke around inside me.

Just found out today, at 7 weeks and 6 days, my first appointment that the baby has no heartbeat. I'm confused by my reaction, I'm angry, sad, calm, and many more emotions. The hardest part is that nobody knows I was even pregnant, so I have to deal with this on my own... As you said though it could have been worse... much worse and I'm grateful for that.
