In this video, we'll show you how the life in Cappadocia is like. We'll visit Mom's Village, cave house of my family. You'll be able to learn more about the local culture and food. Cappadocia, also known as "Nevşehir" is a lovely Turkish province that is known for its unique landscape and delicious food. In this video, we'll show you around Mom's Village and share with you what life is like there. We will cook regional dish from Cappadocia "Nevşehir Tava" with a local lady, visit vineyards, pickup fresh grapes and cook gözleme bread in the viialge. From local food to beautiful views, this video is a great way to visit Cappadocia and learn about the local culture!

What a blessing to be able to pick tomatoes, grapes, etc. that had fully ripened in the sun until they are at their peak! So much more nutritious and tasty. What a wonderful setting - thanks for sharing Kappadokya with us!

In my Kerala, there's also got ripened bananas,mangoes, mostly vegetables..not much grapes,but in some areas

@@sikhabagavathsingh I grew up in South Africa, in a region where there are a lot of vineyards and fruit orchards. I miss that, now that I live in Canada, in a large city where I have to buy everything from stores, and where the fruit and vegetables never taste as they should, because they are always picked when they are not fully ripe. Enjoy your lovely tropical fruits 🙏🏼

@@susan2043 It's true, I'm also jealous from Canada of picking these fruits fresh from the vine and eating immediately. It is possible to get fairly local, good, fresh fruits (apples/pears/peaches/grapes from southern Ontario or Okanagan valley BC) but only in season, and the season is short. Come late May/early June, we'll have perfect strawberries again, so we only have to hold out for 5 months... ;-)

Lovely travelogue, thank you. The Turkish government tourist agencies should be paying you for making these videos! Watching this makes me really want to make a return trip to Türkiye. All of my time there, while living in Karamürsel, was spent along the eastern coastal areas, from Izmit to Istanbul, to Izmir to Marmaris, never having made it to the central interior, south and west. I regret that now. Really enjoyed this video.

Turkey is one of my very favourite places to visit. I’ve stayed with a Turkish family some years ago now, in Ankara for the new year. I usually stay in the south of Turkey where it’s warmer. The food is some of the best in the world. If anyone thinks it’s all kebabs then think again. The kebabs are out of this world and completely different than these so-called takeaways . Everything is so fresh in Turkey. It’s such a big country with so much to see. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve visited. Since 1991. The people are so hospitable.

Thank you so much! The cave is usually part of the structure with regular old style house. The ones I showed where my mother used to grew were for storage and for yarns. Hope you enjoy your time there
