After going through a bad divorce, Emily’s mom began bringing men home on a daily basis. She understood her mother’s pain and fear of being alone. However, it became increasingly difficult for Emily to live in a house where strangers would show up every night. It was especially hard because her mother's lovers weren't exactly the nicest of people.
Emily really tried her best to tolerate her mom’s choices, but, eventually, she developed tricks to force the men to walk away. Sadly, her mischief only served to strain their relationship even further and, one day, Emily decided to leave for good…

But deep down it is the love that she had for her daughter, which made her open her mind and understand her terrible actions. And in the end like in fairy tales. All's well, that ends well

I know this is just an animation art story but I literally held my breath when the young girl went into a stranger apartment just by herself. Boy/Girl, please don't ever do that in real life. Things won't end well like the story. Just saying.

I understand Emily's mother went through a bad divorce with her first husband and fear that she'll never find someone as she might end up alone but that's not true as she still have her daughter as she should focus on raising and spend time with her in the first place instead of bringing men home. Beside Emily's mother will find the right person which I'm glad she did at the end of the story.
