My Most Defined Wash & Go Routine

Hey y'all! Today I have my FAVORITE, MOST DEFINED, wash & go routine that I have recently discovered and fell in love with. It involves using the shingling method and a few new favorite products. While in search of a new product to define my curls this summer, I came across Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic and I don't think Ill ever look elsewhere for another curl definer. I promise, this one is a keeper!

Omg! Thank you so much for sharing this. I have so much shrinkage with my wash and gos and I hate using too much heat to stretch it but your technique at stretching worked perfectly for my hair! I was so surprised as my hair is a lot kinkier than yours. Subscribed! :)

I'm so thankful for the side-by-side comparison. I kept thinking "could I do that with my hair?" Then, when I saw the frizzy side of your hair I said, "Oh, that's my hair right there all the time!" Ha, Ha! Now, I have the confidence to go try the shingling method. I think my hair will look like yours when I'm done.

you have beautiful curls! i notice you have a lot of different types of curls just like me. the back of mine is loose but the front is so tight. I've tried your method a few times. love it

Love the definition you got 😍 , I just started doing the shingling method & saw how defined my curls got but not matter what gel I use or how much I moisturize my hair I still get frizz 😩 any products or methods you could recommend ??

you have very interesting curls. we don't have the same texture but I'm looking at your roots and they remind me of how different my hair is in a number of places, especially at my roots. I looooove UFD too!!! I mostly love the fact that it works for your curl type and mine. not many products even care to make sure they can back that claim.

Great video! My hair type is like yours. I noticed you dont use the LOC method necessarily. U jump right in to styler and gel, I may need more moisture than that but it works for you! Also do you prefer Uncle Funky over Shae moisture?

ok so I just watched this video after an older video of yours. love this video too! question - how does this product compare to Ms. Jessie's gel you used in a previous video and what makes you like it better? Do you know if it work as well on hair with tighter curls/coils? thanks!

This came out great. Do you pineapple or just place a bonnet? Wash and goes never last me an entire week or even 3 days. My hair is too coarse I think but seriously I'm not even 4c. 4a and 4b so I am certain it's how I'm doing it which makes me a fail with my hair

What I have liked about Uncle Funky's products is how easy how easy my hair refreshes with just a spritz of water and or there leave in sprays. Big fan of there products

yeah a little goes a long way with the curly magic..it was very different than other "gels or jellies" that I have tried. I found it at my local Target they just started carrying the line.

When I do this I section off my hair (into four sections) and tie them off with a hair tie lightly as to not create wrinkles. In the morning I take out the hair ties and fluff my hair and add more oil each day to keep it moisturized. :)

A loose, high pineapple would be best. Using Thirsty Curls by Uncle Funkys Daughter as a refreshing spray to take out the "bend" that the elastic band then shake and go. :)
