The RC has a very good feature for flash use. If you set the ISO and the flash guide number, in flash mode it will automatically adjust the aperture based on focus distance.

It's one of my favorites to shoot too and one that always has film loaded ready to go. Big fan of Olympus Cameras!

I have so many of Olympus small format 35mm cameras. XA, 35RC, 35ED, OM2, Trip 50 I've had both of the MJU cameras They're so hard to beat for size vs quality

These Olympus rangefinders are very cool - I’ve got a 35DC and it is fun to shoot - sold my 35SP a while ago

They are super cool! I started with a Trip35 years ago then got a 35ED and finally traded it in for a 35RC to have manual controls. Olympus just had such a knack for making amazing cameras and especially lenses in very small packages.

Great photography, as always! Some of the photographs in this video reminds me of Rinko Kawauchi's work. I have been enjoying your videos on KZfaq. Having seen your photographs of objects and landscapes, what I'm curious to see is how you would approach portrait photography. P.s. RB67 is my only film camera, and I'm also thinking of getting a 135film camera.

Hey thank you so much for the kind words! Kawauchi has some beautiful work so I appreciate that I'll certainly be doing some videos on portrait photography as soon as I can see people to photograph again As for getting a 135 format camera there are so many amazing options out there! You've got a whole world of portable small format cameras if the RB is all you've been using!

Mine doesn’t have a battery so I couldn’t comment I just use it as fully mechanical and without a light meter

Hey Joe, what flash would you recommend for the 35rc except the one you‘re using?

Honestly any small basic flash you can get your hands on. Charity shops and eBay are full of basic flashes with 0 settings or control for under £5 and any of them will do a good job in a setup like this one. The camera is so small and simple I would avoid anything too bulky or overly complicated
