I'm glad I found your channel. I had a good friend who did advaned infantry , became lance corporal back in the 80's. Cheers from Calgary. Talk about right place, right time. Damn nosey neighbors, cant people just let people let people enjoy their hobbies. Sounds like they had bit off more than they can chew but they saved lots of great old stuff. This is a great story. and you scored big time. don't ever leave those old beauties behind. I hate seeing these old cars rot away cause the owners are gonna fix it "someday". Keep it up Brad. you are doing the world a favor saving these old classics. gonna try to get caught up on all your vids.

Hey Sir my Wife and I want to thank you 🙏 so very very much for your service. You men and women are the back bone of our Country. Thank you 😊 once again. Way back in 1975 I owned a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner. I put over one hounded thousand miles on it. I did have to replace the motor and transmission after I ran the heck out of it. I owned it for around seven years. I paid $600.00 dollars for it and resold it for $300.00. I loved that car and it was bad ass fast. I don’t know why but for some reason it was extremely fast.

Listening to your stories to me back. I got my license in ‘72. Muscle cars were all over! If we woulda known then what we know now! Just in my small circle of buddies there was a Cuda, Charger, 340 Duster, Chevelle SS, 442, 71 Satellite GTX… none of them survived us! Shame shame shame

All of those cars will live again in one form or another, the guys you got them from got the city off their bscks, the neighborhood looks better, you made a few $$$, and people who love fixing up old cars get to have some fun. Sounds like a winner all the way around. All's well that ends well

Man! Back years ago I did that type of stuff with Chevelle's. I found a guy 20+ yrs ago that I know still has. Lime time AAR covered in boxes in a garage. I still drive by there and dream lol.

brad thanks for your service brother i live in oxford nc i had a 67 ford f-100 with a 383 out of gtx and a hemi 4speed.i fixed that truck sold to some kid in roxboro nc dragrace tore it up am a mopar man if i see anthing up my way i will let you know am 2 hrs north of you

yes most of them went to good homes. Sorry to have found out about the 68 Satellite went to the scrap yard. I was not happy!

Hey Brad, I found your site a couple of months ago and subscribed but this is the first time I've commented. I love your videos and what you do with these ole cars. I'm 66 and remember when some of these weren't worth $20.00 but now some guys like you get them back on the road and I love that. The ole cars had style which the new cars are just transportation in my opinion. Keep doing what you do and guys like me will watch in awg. Thanks, Later

Funny to come across this video. Today is Thursday and on Saturday I have to travel three hour road trip to pickup a 71 satellite. I've been waiting days for the farmer to lmk if the yard hardened up yet after the rain. Hoping to be able to get it out and trailered without getting stuck in a field. Very excited and can't sleep. I'll be taking pics and videos.

That's killer man... I know of/have known of a few places like this and I can feel this story. A lotta times it's luck of the draw and that's my favorite for sure. Looked like there was some decent stuff tucked away, and you're definitely right...the salvage guys always have the good stuff

That was a really cool story Brad, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nothing like that ever happens to me unfortunately. And just for the record, I do love the 66-67 Chargers. I had a 66 Charger with a 361 big block and a 4 spd. So I guess you could say I am partial to the 1st generation Chargers. Don't get me wrong I love the 2nd gen. Chargers too, but they are way out of my price range now. Thanks for the video.

Gee, my 71 Cuda would fit right into what you described. Both front fenders, grill, bumper, etc all missing. Full of rust. Wrong engine which was roached because no heads etc and rusted stuck. My Mopar buddy took it in trade and was going to scrap it. I traded a set of Corvette Fuelie heads for it and drug it home. 30k later I'm still a long ways from done. But, I got a real 426 Hemi to build it with. Go big or go home.

There's a fellah up the road from me about 9 miles that has a bunch of old sweptlines I've driven past 3 times aint a place too pull off the road at all! seen him out there one time, once i get caught up on property maintenance here im heading up that way, I have a 71 W200 at my Fl place that I picked up for 300 bucks, I want another one!

I had a 1971 Challenger...I love the front grill and the tail lights. Should have my ass kicked for selling it. But like you said...you couldn't hardly give them away back in the late 1980's.

I have had a lot of dream projects, I have run out of time on , when the dreamcatcher has to get emptied for a divorce or whatever the devil wants to snatch away , but you always catch another one, it's better to have an idea and talk to others interested, find but and sell the whole idea, Lock stock and barrel to somebody who can afford to do it when all you wanted to do was just see it done without spending your money that was the dream

Depends on the car, some get sold right away, some I keep around for a while. It all depends on how much I fall in love with one of them, and how much it’s going to ding my wallet.
