After many questions and requests, here are my 34 most valuable videogames. Every game is at least 500 euros / dollars, and going up from there.

Great video once again! I remember watching the previous version of this video years ago and it's really interesting to see some familiar games here again (though a lot more expensive this time around.) Knowing that you have pretty extensive collections of gaming stuff outside of video games also, it would be fun to see similar style videos for MTG and Warhammer as well in the future. Love seeing these kind of videos and hearing the stories related to each and every game listed. My most expensive games right now are the collector's edition of Metroid Prime Trilogy, the special edition of Skyward Sword for the wii and the special edition of Fire Emblem Fates. All of those I got on release.

I'm a few games away from owning 50% of the whole AES library, I think that might be a good point to do an update video. Still, can't promise if that'll take a year or two. :D

Things like the Zelda limited editions are items where the value will never matter because if you own it you'll never want to sell it anyways.

Great video👍 maybe I should also pull the trigger on few 100€+ dreamcast games I really would like to get but just have passed because of high prices. Like you said in video its not likely I would lose if I wanted to sell them at some point

I used to own that Zelda Oracles limited edition. I wrote reviews for a website in the early 2000's and then Nintendo in the Netherlands invited me to their office and gifted me one of these sets. Sadly, I ended up trading it a couple years later for Chrono Trigger on SNES. Also a cool game, but... I regret that decision so much. Mine was in mint condition too, never even took the games out of the box.

Ah that sucks, it's these kind of things that haunt every collector at night. I have my fair share of missed opportunities and wrong decisions down the line. (Mostly in Magic: The Gathering)

Just wondering about your thoughts on collecting modern games these days. I never thought I'd hear myself say this but, I think I'm getting sick of collecting modern games. There's way too many, and they keep re releasing the same games.

Yeah, the same for me. I only collected the Wii U because it was more or less a failure, with a limited library. At least wait for the current generation to become bargain bin fodder, then pick everything up 5 years after.

And collecting games isn't the same anymore, they are just discs (or memory cards on switch) in empty plastic cases (if you don't go for the heavily priced ultimate collectors editions)

The other downside of modern games are the constant updates. If say in another 20 years those updates stop becoming available, a lot of times those games shipped out a buggy mess. That's not to say there won't be ways to update games via the pc in some way id imagine and somehow boot them in the new console.

They're rare, haha! But yeah, it's just paying for the English language on the box/insert paper, which is kinda bonkers. But collectors gonna collect. I'm happy I got these for 10€, I certainly wouldn't pay these current prices myself. :D

Yeah, I'd get so much satisfaction if I happened to find the missing pieces. But I'd say the inner tray is the hardest one, there'd be no reason to remove it from the box, even if I could find the missing sticker.

I think the only valuable game I have in my collection is a CIB Go Go Hypergrind for the Gamecube. A few years ago, some sold between $500-700. I think its gone down since then.

i love how the majoras mask edition has all this shit like a poster and shirt but no one who has it dares to touch it due to opening the poster will ruin the value of the set

im not really the biggest fan of buying rare stuff because its so expensive, i prefer buying cheaper stuff thats still good, but i appreciate collections like these so much. seriously impressive. also this is random, but i just found pikmin (wii) for only 1 dollar, just before pikmin 4. second hand shops dont know how to price games.

Yes, I sold that at one point when I needed some funds. Also, I was a bit anxious owning it, as those games have a small history of developing problems with the cartridge.

Zumba valuation must be for the PAL release. The one in the US goes for about $50.

Man... I tought its crazy to buy collectors editions and all the figurines... now I understand it was just a investment.. I only have 2 original gameboys with a suitcase and some accessoires that will hopefully grow in value... guess I'm not that smart/Lucky hehe.. Although I still think its crazy to buy just collectors editions with 'to me' garbage plastic stuff I understand it now. No hate! Love your video's !

To be fair, most modern Collector's Editions have not and will not go up any significant amount in value. Too many of them produced, in a time where people already collect games. It means more of them will be preserved and therefore their prices will not shoot up like these.

a lot of these are very nice and you have a nice collection but let's face facts on values. With the global recession already here and stocks have been taking for a year now among other things the market is going to dip a bit for the foreseeable future.

It might go down a little, but certainly won't burst. Games are still extremely cheap when compared to other collectables like sports cards and comics. Sure, games aren't at that age yet, but they will be.

Some have been saying the game bubble will will burst since the early 2010s and yet the prices have only gone up. I dont trust it anymore and regret waiting years for it to happen only to have games I wanted go up to a ridiculous amount.

Have you played any of the games or just bought them due to rarity? Some of those are rare because they're bad games. Clay fighter is rare as it sold low amount due to being one of the worst games ever made.

Sure, I've played them all, but the N64 games were bought for completing the collection. Clayfighter itself isn't rare or valuable, just the Sculptor's Cut version. Which wasn't sold at all, it was a rental only and as such has a low print run. So nothing to do with the quality of the game, pretty sure Blockbuster just ordered a set amount of them to begin with.

I have all the games you got I don’t think of them as the most valuable games cause they are too old and they don’t play as great as the xbox one xbox series X PS4 PS5 games but there is a way to make older games valuable that’s if the publishers do remakes on these games and make them play better such as final fantasy 7 remake on PS1 that played really bad it goes for $50-$150 on ebay they never got sold for 10 years they are on my watchlist but even if you upgrade your old gen consoles the games won’t play any better the games will play like trash if everyone loved the old graphics then nobody would be buying out the Xbox series X/S and PS5
