You are asking why they need Ukraine. Thousands of reasons! Hard working people, very good land for farming (very rich with minerals), highly skilled workers, good family values, good sea ports, etc., etc., etc.

Thank you to all of America for your support. Even spreading the word helps. We fight for survival, and I'm our survival, we will live to honor your commitment and support as our friends and allies in a world that feels as though it is shattering beneath us all. This war we fight is not one we asked for, instigated, nor hold the immediate power to end because unlike our enemy, we do not have the option to simply go home. To give up means Ukrainian life and culture will be exterminated by russia. It means everything we are will be erased under the terror and tyranny of a homogenous empire that by definition is fueled by a determination to erase any culture that does not blend into its own ideology of absolute indoctrination and the death of free thought itself. To be russian is to live without freedom, without choice, and without hope. Russia invades foreign lands, injects their own people into homes that do not belong to them, infects the political system, and erases everything in its path that signals any dissent from a brutal and unforgiving doctrine. Russia does not value democracy, or freedom, or human life. Russia is not a culture, but rather the death of culture. The first victims were the people of Russia themselves, and they proceed to sink the sovereignties of everyone in their reach as they infect ideology like a plague. They have occupied and brutalized Ukraine off and on over hundreds of years, even managing to ban our own language to the point that a letter of our alphabet has only really jsit begun to return to use in recent years. Many ignorant people believe Ukraine is russian, but we never have been and never will be. Kyiv Rus' was the birth of Rus civilization, long before Moscow ever existed. We value human life. We value hope. We value freedom. We value progress. We value democracy. And while we still fight to shed the grotesque influence of a century of Russian occupation, only having ended 30 years ago, our fight to weed out these corrupt rats may be difficult and imperfect, but **this is the result of Russia infecting and occupying a foreign people.** This is the consequence ANY people occupied by Russia come to know, and a burden that comes with deep scars. But this and always will be Ukraine. We fight for our survival, we fight for our fallen brothers and sisters, and we fight for the same future our allies and friends in the free world hold dear: that all men are created equal, that they are endowed with unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The very tenants that Russia stands against. The very tenants that spell the end of Putin and a legacy of terrorism. I have brothers and sisters in Russia, and while they are a minority who vehemently oppose this utter insanity, they are a minority that remains my only lifeline of hope that the Death of Culture that is Muscovia will see its end. With it, my hope remains they will see their freedom. But now, we fight for our survival, and it is your continued support and incredible generosity that enables us to prevent the death of our entire being. Should we fall, so too will my tears for your sons and daughters who will come to know the horrors of what Russia is capable of. I pray never to see them sent home in coffins, even as I bury my friends and loved ones who die today fighting for us all. It is a fight we hoped our forefathers had fought for the last time, but I will promise you this: This WILL be the last. Russia had a choice to coexist, and they chose violence. They can go home any time, but their empire will decay because it cannot endure in a world that DEMANDS freedom. It cannot endure in a world that REFUSES submission in the face of tyranny. It WILL NOT be our future because Ukraine and the free world are not for sale. We fight. We will win. We will survive. We will rebuild. We will rise from the ashes. We will be there for you as your friends, your allies, and your brothers and sisters in arms because we know that no war is won without friends. No war is carried alone. No burden should be shouldered without the support of people who share our ideology that freedom is not a choice: it's a fucking NECESSITY. The trajectory of my life changed in ways I never could have imagined, but I will not let the utter betrayal we have faced rob me of my humanity. I will not curse my enemy to death. Should he fine my crosshairs on the battlefield, or register on my radar, I will not hesitate to do what has to be done, but I will not pray they suffer a thousand years of even a fraction of what they've done to us and so many others. I pity them. I lament they've come to die in a place far from home that doesn't belong to them. I mourn the loss of friends behind an iron curtain-people I may never see again. But I will fight. Your support, your empathy is a torch that lights the way to the dawn in this endless night. Please, keep your beacon lit so that I can find my way. And when the sun rises on Ukraine's victory, a new era begins. I can promise you that we will never take a penny of your support for granted, and we will work to repay you in tenfold as steadfast allies, a stable partner in critical resources you should not have to need from an enemy as dangerous as russia. A society that welcomes a radical leap forward as Ukraine can come to know and share our home with people from all cultures as you join us in a future of prosperity and growth-and that you will come to know us, the REAL Ukraine: Your brothers. Your sisters. Your friends. Your colleagues. People who value the same things you do, and who will gladly fight beside you, should you ever face an assault on your own sovereignty and right to exist.
