Just love that cacti are the most sedate, slow growing plants, but have very dramatic flowers (particularly those that grow comically long flower stems). Your cacti are looking gorgeous!

I can see why those are your favorite blooms, they are absolutely beautiful!...one trick I use for tags is using old vertical blinds, I cut them to size and they hold up in the Florida weather, I've had the same tags for over four years and their still going strong! Hopefully this can give you an idea. Enjoy your trip and your time with your family!

I am in awe of your beautiful cactus flowers!!! The pollen on the flying saucer must attract a lot of pollinators. I have a question about the spent blooms: do you take them off the cactus or do they fall off by themselves? Have a lovely weekend, and thanks for sharing!
