Cecilia McGough, a young mental health advocate working to change the conversation around psychosis and schizophrenia by empowering college students and their families.
Cecilia has struggled with schizophrenia since she was a child, and she founded the nonprofit Students With Schizophrenia as a Penn State University student.

You're progress over the last few years is definitely noticeable. You seem so much more comfortable and confident in yourself. I think it's amazing that you're so focused on helping others, and I believe you're single handedly getting rid of the stigma surrounding schizophrenia. Keep up the amazing work!

Amazing! Thank you for doing this work and being vulnerable and speaking out. My grandmother was diagnosed before I was even born. I never thought she was a monster and think this is such necessary work. Thank you!

Cecilia, I have bipolar 2 . I fight every day for self control , I also have ocd , sad light disorder and other battles. Seems as though the bipolar 2 gives me an insight and understanding of many other disorders. I just watched a video of u and a man talking , where you were talking about what u see . I only have hallucinations as my dreams and I wake up and am still in the dream acting it out and moving , etc .until I realize it's a dream and can snap out of the basically sleep walking.

Glenn Zlotowski hey, are you on medication? Your doctor could resolve this pretty quickly. You shouldn’t really had these nightmares. I have the same diagnosis and I used to have them when I wasn’t taking the right meds, or I started taking them again after some time and i still had side effects. I’m sure they will go away.

My best friend committed suicide before two weeks, she also had schizophrenia, I can't help the thought that I wasn't there for her!

@Tiffany F. Hey❤️ I am not sure if I was there for her, because at the last 4 months she wasn't speaking to me or to anyone, so I am thinking that she was alone... Even though she kinda wanted that... Her mom said to me that the day before she died, they went for a walk, after months being at her house, and she said to her that she loves her, for the first time in years, and that she wants to find peace. I guess that she was thinking about it for days. I love her and I am thinking about her... I think she is in a better place, being as she was before her illness... Thank you for your comment

I can't image how many teenagers commit suicide before being diagnosed from schizophrenia. And nobody will never know. What do you think?
