@Jasmine Williams I thought the samething about braiding hair until I did a braid on my daughter's hair. It seems hard but that's all a mind thing. I even did my daughter box braids and they turn out perfect. So just practice that's all. Now I'm going to try to do my own sew-in on my hair bc of this video.

Oh my god. This braid pattern is genius! I have been to many professionals and they always leave me with big bulks of braids in the back. And every time I put my hair up in a ponytail I look like I’m hiding something in the back of my head

Lovely! I will try a slight variation of this in the fall. Probably won’t leave out the back because I have natural hair and don’t want to straighten it to frequently. Will see what happens! I do my own hair and enjoy watching other individuals do their own hair as well, when possible. Just amazing! Thanks for sharing!

Great job octavia!! I’m actually going to get my sew-in next week, and I’m going to do the same thing, some leave out on the sides, back and front! So I can pull it up in a bun and go-) I loveeeeee old fashioned sew in’s! Such a difference from all the lace fronts we see currently!

I’ve only done my own faux locs once before. Never thought I could do a sew in in my entire life. I just ordered some bomb bundles & for some reason I’m willing to do my hair on my own.
