Cancer is awful but children are very strong and if it helps, 3 of my grandparents have had cancer (one of them 3 times) and all are fine and well right now! It’s a scary word but more and more people are recovering! Don’t worry about filming or think you are letting anyone down! Spend time with your family and look after yourself too, caring for an Ill loved one is hard on you too 💕

Oh my God, Kirstin, how heartbreaking! You know, I work at a Café in Walt Disney World and sometimes I see kids like Joe who have suffered a life-threatening illness. Check into an international resource if Make-A-Wish reaches out to Europe and/or check into the United Nations Children's Fund. They might have financial resources for children of countries who don't have the medical resources which make travel to another country necessary. Also, there could be an international branch of the Children's Miracle Network. Something to look into. I'm so sorry to learn of this sad event. On March 7th, my own dad had an ischemic stroke in the left side of his brain. He is 91 years old and a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. I really feel for those brain injuries, Kirstin. God bless your family. Note: Although the organizations I mentioned are in the USA, they may have international branches. It would be worth looking into for Joe's sake. What a precious Angel.

What a little sweetheart! Cancer is evil, it’s hard enough for an adult going through cancer but a child! There are just no words. You are all being so so brave. The fundraising will help you all keep positive and keep your sweet nephew smiling. Is the proton therapy covered by the nhs or are you having to fundraiser for that too? I thought you had no internet access because of the bad weather! It just shows you have no idea what anyone is going through. You do whatever helps you to get through this time.
